Came across this great site: http://www.philosopher.eu

It's mainly a resource for panpsychism and Alfred North Whithead's thought (a good one), but has a wonderful page of links to articles / papers dealing with the intersection between psychedelics and philosophy:

http://www.philosopher.eu/psychoactive-philosophy/

Some of the topic covered:

Participatory Psychedelia: Transpersonal Theory, Religious Studies, and Chemically-Altered (Alchemical) Consciousness

Naturalizing Psychedelic Spirituality

The Hidden Psychedelic History of Philosophy

Psychedelic Information Theory

I'd like to add this: I came across it whilst searching for something as simple as possible about Whitehead's philosophy. So far it's the simplest I've found, but I'm holding hope I'll find something simpler still. Watch this space because I'll post it if I find it...

Great!

This is a good, accessible intro to his organic realism (it's by the author of www.philosopher.eu ):

These are both helpful overviews of process philosophy (including, but not limited to, Whitehead):

https://www.iep.utm.edu/processp/

And this at least explains some of Whitehead's more exotic terminology fairly well:

Look forward to seeing what else you dig up. :)

I've been following up on Whitehead's philosophy but found that I can't really find anything that simplifies it satisfactorily. I kind of get it, but not in any detail -- I find the actual detail very difficult to grasp if I'm honest.

The nearest I've got includes:

Also this pdf, from Stephan J. Brewer's site, and a Thinking Allowed video with Christian de Quincey (more interviews with him here), which contextualises Whitehead's panexperientialism with other ontologies including Materialism, Idealism and panpsychism:

This is an area that has stumped me too - I will try your videos to see if they help!
