The goal of progressivism is full blown Marxism.
If you are interested in understanding this, you might carefully read an explanation by Sonnie Johnson as to why we still have the black/white divide in the US and what has played a role in keeping this divide as it is -
The new fight is socialism vs capitalism.
To understand this – you have to understand how Marxism got into America… how it was implemented and how it was rooted.
And if you understand how Marxism got there, then you will understand what they are talking about when they say “systemic racism,” because they are the same thing.
The American form of Marxism is progressivism… the idea being, they don’t give it to you all at one time, they slowly progress society along towards their measures.
They knew that if they tried to push a socialistic agenda on the American people, that it would be rejected outright.
So their plan was to progressively insert more and more Marxism into the system until Marxism
was the system and the people didn’t even realize that the switch had happened. That is
the point of progressivism. If you are progressing, you are progressing towards “something”… and nobody arrives. What is your final destination point that you’re progressing toward?
And if do you ask them, they’ll say something like “equality.” And they mean it… equality of poverty that you find in Marxism.
So, if you do not understand the history of how we got here, you are not going to understand the fight we are currently in. Okay?
So, lets go through an abbreviated format of this history real quick – and again… everybody said, “we don’t wanna be black, we don’t wanna be white, we just want to be American.” OK, well this is American history. Just because it happens to focus on black people, as you said… black and white, we’re still American. Even though it is focused on black people it is still American history. And if you do not understand that it is still American history then you are missing the point of everything you are seeing happening in the streets right now.
This is how I told you it was gonna happen. This is how I predicted it. This is how I know that if we don’t make a change now, we are gonna lose our country. That’s it. Okay?
So – abbreviated version:
Straight off the plantation, right off of slavery, black people across the south began to build “Black Wall Street” under the tutelage of people like Booker T. Washington which this entire era after reconstruction is called the Booker T. Washington era. Okay?
They started to make “self-made millionaires” in every industry, in every different trade in everywhere that we could put our hands and we started to build Black Wall Street across the South. Now, while we were in this process of building Black Wall Street, the party that we fought in the Civil War… the party that was started cooperatively between blacks and whites, the Republican Party decided that “it” wanted to change course. It wanted to be “lily white.”
And no, that is not me making some kind of racial statement, that is literally what they called themselves.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lily-white_movement
They called themselves “the Lily White Republicans.”
So, no… that is not “me” giving them that term. Okay?
So, they went about kicking black people out of the party. Very diligently, making sure that there were no black faces in high positions, because that way they could start to court more of the voters in the South. And their absence in black communities is what allowed a lot of the “Jim Crow” laws to continue to spread across the country and to remain unchallenged until you got the Civil Rights law of 1964… you can talk about the one in 1957, but the 1964 law actually had the impact. Right?
So, Republicans kicked black people out of the party. Democrats at the time during this Republican purge of black people that started in 1890s… the Democrats were in full racist mode, full KKK, they started to usher in people like Woodrow Wilson who would re-segregate the military, re-segregate the government… saying that segregation was in the best interests of both races. And even though he had black support, when those black supporters came to him and questioned him he would say, “if the negro feels like he made a mistake in voting for me he should change that.”
So now you have black people looking at two political parties (without a viable third as is the American way), and neither one of them wants their presence. Vocally, out front… neither one of them wants their presence.
Now during this time an ideology was spreading across Europe. The ideology of Marxism. And countries like Russia who liked communism set about trying to prove that communism was a better system than capitalism. And the way that they decided they would make that argument was using race as a guise. So, countries across Europe would invite American blacks to their country. And they would be treated like rock stars. They would be given first class treatment. It wasn’t because that’s how every citizen of that country was treated. It was because they wanted to give these black people the impression that under a Marxist system, “equality” could be found.
And of course, you might think otherwise, but at this time none of the real effects of communism, the real effects of Marxism had been seen yet. China hadn’t happened. Hitler hadn’t happened. None of the mass exterminations had happened yet.
It was just an experimental philosophy at the time. And these black people were like, “this sounds good.” We did they say it sounds good? They said it sounds good because both political parties at home were denying them access. So they went and they searched out an ideology that would get them to equality. The pushers of Marxism were happy to let them believe that.
These people came back… and they liked the ideas… matter of fact, they liked the ideas so much that is how Woodrow Wilson got his section of the black vote. Remember, Woodrow Wilson is the father of American progressivism. He’s the one they call, “the daddy of it all.”
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woodrow_Wilson
https://whyy.org/articles/president-woodrow-wilsons-legacy-progressive-politics-and-racism/
So, these black people came back with this ideology and now their looking at Woodrow Wilson that he’s gonna be this generations Abraham Lincoln. He’s gonna be this generations savior to Black America. Why they were looking it him like that? Because they saw the ideology. The progressive ideology moving towards more government power, moving towards more government control, distribution of wealth. And in those things, unionization… “All of us come together… woo hoo!”
So, they supported Woodrow Wilson. Woodrow Wilson said, “OK, yeah… we’re progressive… let me show you how this stuff works…
and segregated everything!
That was the beginning of America’s systemic racism.
That’s when it got into the federalized system as far as systemic racism is concerned. You can’t say it didn’t happen because its real, it did happen. It happened by a US president and the White House implemented itself into strategy. It was directly race based. Nothing about that can be denied. That democrat progressive Woodrow Wilson did all those things (while Lily White Republicans let it all happen too).
So, the first round of black intellectuals brought into progressivism, they got kicked in the teeth by Woodrow Wilson. So, then comes the second generation and they still want the ideology, they still want Marxism. They saw it that they just got screwed the first time in that it wasn’t equally applied to them.
So, here’s the second go-around with FDR and again, they give black support. They give black support for this progressive agenda. Again, a reason why you are talking about when did the parties switch sides, black people had been left out of the Republican party… so its not a matter of when they switched sides… they (the Republican party) switched sides back in the 1890s. Blacks had no side to go to because the Democrats hated blacks too! All that from the 1890s up to the 1920s.
So filling in a gap here from 1920 to FDR… then comes the renaissance, “the Harlem Renaissance”
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harlem_Renaissance
https://www.history.com/topics/roaring-twenties/harlem-renaissance
What is a renaissance? A renaissance is a rebirth of intellect and culture simultaneously. You have to have both. So, the leading ideology before the renaissance was capitalism (in the black community up to about 1916/17 or so). Blacks were using capitalistic measures to build Black Wall Street.
https://daily.jstor.org/the-devastation-of-black-wall-street/
https://www.amazon.com/Black-Wall-Street-Renaissance-Greenwood/dp/1934645389
So, if you’re going to have an ideological rebirth of change, that means the capitalism has to go and some other ideology has to replace it. And it has to be replaced along with the culture. Hence you get the Harlem Renaissance.
Now you get this whole new infusion of Marxist ideology mixed with culture, mixed with art, mixed with poetry, mixed with music, mixed with short stories. Then you have this merger with that intellect with the culture and you get a Harlem Renaissance or, as they explain it, “changing the flag over Tuskegee” – remember Tuskegee was started by Booker T. Washington who was the first teacher (1881), who was a capitalist and a conservative… do it “yourselfer,” an entrepreneur, all of those things.
And this is when they “changed the flag over Tuskegee” – (1932)
https://www.google.com/books/editio...lag+over+tuskegee&pg=PA97&printsec=frontcover
And they threw their support behind FDR when FDR promises “a New Deal.”
“Okay, cool… we’re gonna get this new deal,”
Some (many) black people were left out of it. Their communities were “red lined” into districts where loans could not be made, investment could not be made. Over-regulation was rampant and yet they would put garbage companies near their neighborhoods. And listen to them talk about now, “environmental justice…” this is what they’re talking about. Because they really did it under progressive Democrat FDR and his New Deal. This is how they started to structure black communities.
On top of that, blacks were a new generation of wealth… remember they were straight off the plantation, they weren’t “old wealth,” “established wealth.”… not yet, but imagine if they had been left alone? But they weren’t. Under “the New Deal” taxes were tripled! So all of that money that black America had begun to accumulate was sucked right out of them by government via taxation. And then all these regulations were put into place from the federal level that prevented the regrowth. The economic system sucked the life blood out of Black America.
Remember, blacks were building it themselves. They were doing it themselves. They didn’t have a problem with that until the system of taxation got involved. Until the system of regulation got involved. Until the system of progressivism got involved (high taxes, massive regulation). And all this put blacks again on the track of systemic racism.
And this was the second time that the black intellectual had tricked by the Democrat progressives. Again, black people were excluded, and it was not a fair deal for blacks. It was a raw deal for blacks.
And they realized how bad they had screwed up. And so they decided that instead of giving up on the ideology, even though twice they had tried the ideology and the ideology didn’t work… instead of giving up on the ideology, they said, “Okay, Democrats have the (right) ideology… we want the ideology, but they’re racist. So we have to fight their racism.”
So, they took people from the North and they sent them to the South and they started a civil rights movement. The entire civil rights movement was a Democratic fight. There were no Republicans involved in that. That was a Democratic fight and you can point to one person and say, “he was a Republican…” but no, overall, that was a Democrat fight. That was Democrat on Democrat. That was black progressives who wanted to be Democrats taking on the racist segment of the Democratic party. It was a slugfest between Democrats. And there was no Republican involvement. And you can say, “these Republican senators voted for… “ these senators had to vote for it… what do you think? They’re gonna vote, no?
Where were all those (Republican) people telling the Republicans they “gotta get ‘the Lily White’ out of their party?” Nowhere. Were they actually engaging the black community? No. But they took a vote, right?
So, 1964. The Civil Rights bill passed. The black Democrats are happy, they now have their seat at the table. You can go look at the AFL-CIO seal –
View attachment 1658
…it’s the black hand and the white hand – it symbolizes their merger. All these things took place. All these ideologies started to line up together and you see what they formed what you see now as “the new Democratic Party.” The Democratic Party of civil rights… which they are, because the civil rights people of the Democratic party beat the racist people of the Democratic party.
So now they won, and their party is now the party of civil rights.
Well, blacks have tried that for 60 years and that’s failed too. Again, blacks tried that for 60 years and that has failed too.
And what you see right now is Democrat on Democrat. No Republicans in that. It’s the same historical context down the line. Nothing has changed about the paradigm shift. There weren’t no Republicans there then, there aren’t any Republicans there now.
And as there is no competing ideology within these groups (black groups), as there’s no competing ideology towards this progressive push (among blacks) it metastasizes. It grows, it develops. It starts seeping out of black neighborhoods into white neighborhoods. It damn sure got deep into the federal government. And to the point where you have massive debts and a “war on poverty” that proves nothing, that’s fixed nothing… nothing… NOTHING!
And its all Democrats trying to appease other Democrats and what they initially designed as a systemic system that has nothing but racism since its implementation starting with Woodrow Wilson.
So, if you look at it in the totality of how Marxism got to America, how it was implemented, where it was started… how it has metastasized throughout the Democratic party and you’re still saying systemic racism
doesn’t exist even though you had no presence in it, no part in it, no play in it… your ideology just ignored it all and let it grow until you see what you see now in the streets.
The answer to systemic racism is the same answer Booker T. Washington had all those years ago that successfully built Black Wall Street.
It is conservatism.
It is capitalism.
The part that Booker T. Washington got wrong is that you need policies and politicians
to protect it once it is built! Because if you build it and you allow them to tax it to death and regulate it to death and use crony capitalism and abuse of governmental positions you will bleed the economic heart out of the black community (out of any community for that matter).
And if you want to say it is systemic racism… say its name, it is progressivism.
It is death, poverty and destruction. But can we please stop pretending it isn’t real.
