Wikileaks: The IMF is a weapon of war

Well, take a look at the history of the US. The Founding Fathers were against the establishment of a central bank for years because of the inflation caused by the Bank of England to pay for the numerous wars and the fact that it left the colonies with a crippling burden of debt. There were numerous attempts by the power brokers to establish a central bank. The defeat of the second Bank of the United States was considered Andrew Jackson's greatest victory, despite the many flaws he had: he has been the only President to successfully pay off the debt. The third attempt at the establishment of a central bank was with the Federal Reserve system in 1913 in which Rockefeller, Morgan, and other huge industrialist titans combined forces to gain control of the money-printing mechanism. It was through this meeting that they directly established a partnership with the government to create a mega-monopoly over the financial system.

When I say that the banks control the government, it is a two way street: the government loves the Fed because they can print as much money as they want without having to raise taxes, and the Fed, in turn, gets to operate in secrecy and work for the shareholders, of whom they have given out massive trillion dollar loans. Who are the shareholders? This Congressional investigation offers some good insight.

These banks through the joint ownership of stocks in various companies have seized control of the global economy, which explains the result of this study in Switzerland that found that 147 companies direct the flow of capital to the entire global economy:https://www.forbes.com/sites/brenda...7-companies-that-own-everything/#75dcb9ae685b

I believe the goal of these corporate shareholders is to have the governments of the world and their resources directly under their influence, which is what the Trans-Pacific Partnership was all about. If you could have seen how draconian the original plan was before Trump, despite his many flaws, refused to sign, you would have been up in arms immediately.

Pretty conclusive report that the federal reserve is a revolving door for corporate bankers. Pretty surprising, I wasn't aware that an official report like this existed.

I'm familiar with the TPP, it used to have me so angry I would get migraines from gnashing my teeth.

It's worse, I am afraid. The Fed has been giving secret loans to European banks as well as Goldman Sachs: they are one and the same. https://thinkprogress.org/wall-stre...ecret-fed-loans-made-during-the-893833d1b65a/

Wall Street and London bankers have the entire world by the throat. Venezuela is going to be given over to the IMF and Citi. Just watch. Guaido has already made a deal with Citi to take Venezuela's gold. That's how these people operate: GOD. Gold, Oil, and Drugs. These Wall Street financiers would feed their own mother to sharks if it meant that they could make a quick buck off of it:

I'll never forget a central bank being the first thing established during the initial weeks of the Libyan "revolution"

What can be done about this sordid state of affairs?

Indeed.. the big banks have captured the Justice Department and the statehouse. We need a lawmaker that has the courage to bring them to task, break up the too big too fail banks, and put all the CEOs on trial yet again. As far as the debt-based financial system, there is a way out. If we allow technology to work for us and not just for the elites, we may never have to work with compensation again because technology can produce all the things that we need. The Pentagon actually did a study where they determined that with our collective resources, we have the power to completely eliminate hunger and poverty around the world, but greed is holding us back.

This requires a radical paradigm shift, however, and many, many things would have to change. I think at this point, kissing the debt-based system goodbye is a matter of survival. It is clear moving forward that the elite believes that the world is entitled to them. They don't care if workers die out because of the robotics revolution because they don't need us anymore. This is why they are buying underground bunkers in mass.

I don't think they are actively seeking our elimination, as many do, but that they wouldn't care one iota if the majority of us died out. The quote from Scrooge Marley in the Christmas Carol comes to mind: "If they are going to die, they better do it, so as to decrease the surplus population."

We have a bookends situation with regard to this however. The wealthy are not the only problem. In value chain theory...

A. Greed, is the desire to obtain easy gain without having to provide any value in return.
B. Avarice, is the emotional need to obtain gain at the expense or harm of another person or group.
1. Greed and avarice exist among both the rich and the poor.
2. Social collapse and human suffering are the result of greed and avarice.

I have had run-ins with both billionaires and street urchins who got their jollies off how skillfully they could swindle another person. Being poor or rich has nothing to do with either state of horrid humanity. One can be poor and still exhibit greed and avarice. One can put on a display of charity works, and still be a swindler behind the smoke, mirrors and curtains. One can put on a costume of victim, and still run drugs in their unaccountable time.

The collapse of collectivist systems, to my most dispassionate observation while doing national strategy, does not precipitate simply because of the wealthy (wealth is actually an outcome of collectivist practices). 'Spreading the wealth' per se, does not itself serve to eliminate greed nor avarice. It actually accelerates both, if done without checks and stipulations. One quarter of mankind knows that it is dishonest. Another quarter of mankind does not know that it is dishonest (until quick gain is on the table) - and they become the danger.

A third to a half of humanity will serve greed and avarice regardless of what economic condition they exist inside of, and regardless of what they are given. These are the people who hold us hostage.

Wealth is the extraction of assets upward to a greed and avarice clan.
Crime is the extraction of assets downward to a greed and avarice clan.

Capital is the disciplined re-provision of wealth to the ethical skilled, innovative and working class. Any system which does not discipline under such provision, will fail regardless of what it calls itself.

This is an even-headed reply. I apologize if my attacks come off as somewhat Marxist, I assure you that I am not. I agree that the economic system we are in prizes profit above all else. In itself, self-interest is a necessary part of existence, but when it is reinforced by the current economic paradigm as being the only way to live, it becomes quite toxic, and may in fact, end up serving no one. So suppose we were to take this Randian model of self-interest to the utmost extremes, where would we end up? Well, in this model, it is every man or woman for him or herself, which would essentially mean anyone who isn't you would be unimportant, but society is not just made up of you: society is made up of individual members who must have some form of cohesion in order for that society to function, and in order for cohesion to form, it is absolutely necessary that you be able to focus on the needs of its members, and not just yourself.

Even though I am well-versed in religion, philosophy, and a decent amount of economics, I too fall into the human trap of contributing to us vs them mindset. Thank you for reminding me of this.

Although that was quite a long reply, I am curious as to whether you believe greed is an inherieted or learned trait. I would argue that self-interest is an inherieted trait, but greed in itself is not: the two are not the same.

I suppose in my previous example, the ultra wealthy get more flack because of their influence and domain of power, but I would agree with the assertion that their cold-heartedness has nothing to do with their wealth, but may, in fact, be an inherent trait that becomes more prominent the more they are able to exercise influence.

Oh no TS, not at all. That was not actually what I mean to imply I was responding to. You are fine, no need to apologize. ;;/? Sometimes I am just expounding in agreement.

Actually, to a Crony - my model of integral capital is regarded as Marxist because it cites Crony Capitalism as one of our key problems. I had the head of a capital fund attack me with just such an accusation - I should have called him a 'F*cking Corrupt Can't-Succeed-Without a-Setup Idiot' to his face, but I had too much at stake at the time to do so. But behind the scenes, Crony Capitalists cheat, they live by the fixed game. Most could not manage their way out of a paper bag if given a real company to run and given a real market challenge to prosecute. They live on buzzwords and imitating what everyone else is doing. They are incompetent and they know it deep inside.

They cannot 'do it for real', so they cheat - and somewhere in this process of selling their soul to the devil, they gain a dark proclivity for obtaining satisfaction from harming others as well, in the process of gain. Which broaches your natural next question.

This is what I observed by working directly for an 80 year old billionaire out of Boca Raton, Florida. A corrupt old man who paid off lawyers to legally-steal companies; and moreover, sold all the stock in his corporation weeks before it collapsed - leaving hundreds of employees/familes without jobs and in complete loss of all their savings/retirement - while he got away with 100% of his stock value, because he was tipped off of to a market collapse, by his buddy, the head of the above referenced investment fund.

I do not think that greed is a learned thing - I think that people are born with that foible in their makeup. However, fear and anger can convert them into using greed as their form of revenge upon the world. This man was angry over how he had been treated as a kid in his father's store.

Greed
1. My desire to gain far exceeds my ability to obtain that gain.
2. This terrifies me, because that gain is what will justify me as a human, after the indignation I have suffered.'
3. I will succumb to the darkness in order to get/justify what I want. < - - - and therein the dark spirit is allowed in

On the other hand avarice is an acquired habit. The darkened heart which wallows in its greed, eventually tires of its prurient lure, and begins to find that harming others provides for a little satisfaction boost on top of the gain high itself. Like adding Fentanyl to their Cocaine - it warps their mind and the drug begins to take over their thinking completely.

Avarice
1. My drug of choice is the adrenaline I get from the easy victory in gain.
2. I am becoming bored with this drug, yet angry at anyone who stands in between me and my drug.
3. A new high can be achieved by combining harm, especially harm of the innocent, with my easy gain high.

This same 80 year old billionaire, hired a middle aged sales VP, who had lost his home in a divorce and had lost two kids (one to a car wreck and the other to childhood cancer). The man was trying to get back up on his feet, and had been sober for like a year. He was a decent sales VP, and learning fast. The old man hired him for 6 weeks, stole all the man's sales contacts, then fired him and put out word to his partner vendor companies to not hire the man. Not for incompetence or malfeasance, rather he did not want any of his vendors to know the story of what he had done.

I was in his house when the sales VP called, and he fired him. The sales VP was sobbing on the phone... and the billionaire laughed at him. Not a laugh of humor... nor even just revenge for something the sales VP had done wrong... but a laugh of satisfaction he took in magnifying the suffering of a vulnerable and weaker individual.

He then went on to scream over his house PA system at his yard-keepers he was viewing on the security system monitors at his desk, that they were not arranging the tulips the way he wanted, because he had lots of political figures due to come visit that next weekend - and by golly they sure were not going to 'screw that up'.

He was human garbage.

Interesting.. thank you for sharing your story. It just goes to show that the system we live in my opinion, encourages maltreatment and narcissism. If you think about it, from a very young age, we are taught by the school system to be in a constant gridlock with the people around us for attention and prestige. It's not about how your progress is stacking up to how you were doing yesterday or a week ago, but how your progress is stacking up to the rest in your class, and then between that and religion, we are already instilled with us vs them mindset that then follows us through the rest of our lives, not in the least in the media and elsewhere. One of the key things that I tried to instill in the people that I tutored to complete their high school GED is to focus on just improving themselves and not being the best in the class or whatever. I found that they actually performed better when this was emphasized. It admittedly does not make it any easier to do.

It's sad because I have experienced much of the same things that you have. I never understood it, personally. My parents, despite what flaws they may have, have always taught me to put people before anything else and the importance of a person's mutual respect and dignity. I'm not perfect, of course, but I do my very best to avoid judgment and gossip. I just have never seen the point, personally. Everyone around me is always bickering about how they hate this person or that person or what that person did to them, etc.. and I just feel that life is too short to waste it hating people for petty things they do or don't do.

I don't know. Maybe I'm just strange, but I don't really feel a huge need to be on social media either. I see this kind of stuff all the time on there, and I know it simply isn't doing my mental health any favors to be around it. Aside from this, I don't really feel the need to take pictures of myself all day and share it with the world: it just doesn't seem something that I really care all that much about, to be honest. As you can imagine, my differences have made it hard for me to make friends with people my own age, and as a result, I often have to resort to a sense of fakeness in order to gain any sense of comradery. In general, I get along better with 45 year-olds than 24 year-olds.

Before heading off to college, I did some stints in sales as well, and I can tell you from the outset that the majority of that culture is one toxic bomb waiting to go off. You are taught, at least, I was, to look at people as a means to an end and not as an end in themselves. Even if someone refused something, you were supposed to push it on them. I got heartily compensated for selling a warranty plan, but in order for me to even take a vacation, I was required to sell the plans. I was furious when my boss refused to let me go on vacation until I sold more plans. I wanted to scream at him: "you can take your plans and shove it up your.." but I didn't because in the business world, I find the majority could care less about authenticity: it's all about results by hook or by crook. So whether I liked it or not, I had to twist folk's arm a million ways from Sunday just to go on vacation. Needless to say, this type of thing just isn't worth it to me.
