[Clip 00:00:00 – 00:00:27]
That’s Matthew McConaughey from The Lincoln Lawyer schooling his client on how the legal system really works. It’s a topic that factors into this interview I have coming up with attorney an investigative journalist William Ramsey, quite prominently, especially when it comes to the case we’re going to talk about, one of them, the West Memphis Three, and how it generated this ridiculous meme about satanic panic. Because as you’ll hear, no matter what you feel about the legal proceedings surrounding Damien Echols and these crimes, there really should be no doubt that this is an individual that was deeply, deeply involved in satanic occult practices. And I say that, of course, because you’ve listened to this show with satanic being in quotes because we can’t pigeonhole all this evil and hang it on one guy
Here’s a clip from the upcoming interview with William Ramsey.
Alex Tsakiris: [00:01:35] But he looks so innocent and harmless, but that’s exactly the point I wanted to put on about the deception. He’s caught with an outrageous lie there, right?
William Ramsey: [00:01:46] Right, yeah. I mean, they caught him in a lie that he was writing like a secret script. I mean, the allegation is that he was obsessed with the occult, but they denied all that. But while he was in jail, what’s he doing? He’s writing the secret script that has Jason Baldwin’s name and Aleister Crowley. And then he gets out, what’s he do? He’s right back writing books about magick with a K, and making all these very different interviews, he’s quoting, he’s talking about the moonlight, he’s talking about rituals, he’s tweeting about it. I mean, it’s just incredible that people can actually be led on to think that that’s not involved in this case.

Hi Alex

Thanks so much for this episode,Im really triggered,... in a good way though.
You were asking the questions I really want answered but Im not sure how we could ever get the full truth.

When you look at history under a lens there is allways a darkness that starts pushing up bad leaders beyond anything
that mere personality would account for. You can see their star rising and all obstructions vaporize and then later you see the flame go out
and no matter how hard they try they can do no right and they burn out.
Also even the good hearted get taken over with power and totally transformed (papa Doc in Haiti) to become evil.

My measure for this is taking what to me is a solved mystery from the past and trying to cut through to the bones by applying that truth
and comparing to other cases.
An example would be the pyramids in egypt and the huge stone structures in pre - Incan south america.
Archaeologists say they dragged these huge stones up massive ramps and cut them with such precision with round rocks so that you cant get a blade between them, in south america they did the same but made incredibly complicated 3D locking joints to boot.
The esoterically inclined say they levitated the blocks with sound or ufos placed them there.
As far as I can tell they both made geopolymer mixtures from natural chemicals and took the mix in buckets or bags to the pyramids or structures
and made the blocks insitu.
Simple and ingenious you might say but how did they come on this idea both in egypt and south america. In south america they say they were
educated by mysterious foreigners. This is a theme that we see over and over in history.
Now I ask you are these mysterious others, spiritial or multi dimensional or a figment of ourselves etc.
The modern example is Steiner and his mysterious teacher or Jung and his, to me these are the questions that need to be answered.

wow... What an interesting observation. on some level it seems undeniably true. but I'm not sure what to make of it from spiritual standpoint.

It also seem to me that as long as human consciousness is in these body/mind things then we are very prone to messing-up, falling off the-be-kind-and-compassionate wagon.

I like the idea of be kind/compassion but as I get older it seems a sad second place to living fully and passionately without causing harm unless provoked and threatened. The spiritial point needs to be tempered with earthly reason and imagination not flights of fancy, perhaps that is what I am trying to get across.I would love to know what your present thinking is about the hidden forces that are clearly manipulating or trying to manipulate
this consciousness :Spiritual, Us in a different state, etheric beings etc?Are you able to put your cards on the table?

no problem regarding cards :) I love putting mine out there... makes me feel more connected to like-minded journeyers.

and, of course, I'm ok with the "cause no harm" thing. I guess what was going on in the back of my mind is an interview I just did yesterday with tricia barker. she had this incredible near death experience and encounters with angels and god and healing... and I don't think for one second that any of that didn't happen or wasn't genuine... but then she comes back and goes through some traumatic experiences like being raped in south korea.

so, it seems to me that we want to package all this stuff up because it's much more comforting to think that everything is predictable and that "everything is going to work out" but obviously on another level know this is impossible/illogical.

our scheming / planning / hoping that presupposes we are at the center of the universe is not supposed to work out.

I'm not sure if this episode is a new low. David Icke and Sarah Westall come to mind. But you are falling down a very dangerous conspiracy and anti-occult lens that now shapes your thinking. Anyone who looks at the West Memphis 3 and does NOT agree this was Satanic Panic is, well, insane. Which, I suppose, happens to many people in this insane culture we live in.

Hi Crystal
Not sure why you think different voices should not be heard, we need to listen and make up our own minds.
The dangerous thing is silencing diverse voices...book burning, burning witches and the hubris that we think we know it all and are so much smarter that everybody else.

In fact this whole agenda is straight out of the Nazi playbook. Yep, I said it. It needs to be said. The whole far-right anti-occult, cultural Marxism "woke" agenda comes straight from the Nazi playbook. I could throw out a bunch of documents proving this is the case with Mr. Ramsey and others, proving that they have been psyop-ed but I know Alex won't read those reports. But there was a decent podcast recently that goes over some of this with the very free-thinking Clandestime podcast from the wonderful Tom Secker. I will link here for those brave enough: https://www.spyculture.com/clandestime-210-conspiracy-theories-cultural-marxism-in-hollywood/

Great, so what is your take of these forces. Id love to take it in to adjust my thinking.

Just because someone has a voice doesn't mean it should be heard. Richard Spenser comes to mind. William Ramsey also comes to mind. This is paranoid delusion, started by the Nazis, picked up by the paranoias of Hoover and the FBI, and later the paranoia of the Christian white supremacist agenda exploited by the Reagan administration.

Id love to hear your thoughts, strange to put right and marxism and woke on the same side, who is on the other side?

No they must all be heard, the nazis stopped discussion, you need to study the history
for yourself.

I think it would really help to avoid the sweeping generalisations implied by expressions such as "Cultural Marxism", "Alt-Right", or "Nazi", and to discuss issues in a more brass tacks fashion - maybe I am just unsophisticated, and I picked up my approach from my parents, who came from Yorkshire (UK) :). I went to the website you linked to, but before I plough into an hour long podcast about something I feel is ill-defined, I wish you would explain what you mean in down to earth terms. I mean maybe it would help if I asked you a few questions:

1) Do you think there is an extended realm of consciousness? I am fairly sure this is real.

2) Do you think that rituals involving the evil parts of that realm sometimes involve abuse of children - or indeed motivate such abuse? I think this is likely.

3) In what way (if any) do you think this is linked with Hollywood and/or politics?

Notice that I couched my answers in a non-binary way (pun intended) - it is OK to sit on the fence - I'd just like to know which fence you are on!

I listened to this podcast and one of Secker's other podcasts on the COVID lockdown and was interested to find that here is a left wing commentator who seems to largely agree with those on the right about a lot of what is wrong with the world, but places most of the blame with the right rather than the left.

Which for me hints at the conclusion that some on both the left and right agree on some of what's wrong with the world: where they differ is which side they apportion the blame to. To my mind, it's quite possible neither side is looking at issues dispassionately. It's said that one should avoid attributing to malice what is often more probably stupidity at worst, and confused thinking at least. I wonder if it might be better looking for, and trying to sort out, the stupidity/confusion, whilst trying to avoid viewing it from a particular political viewpoint.

Similarly, listening to this podcast of Alex's, he and his interlocutor seem to be looking at "Satanic panic" from the viewpoint of those who think that Satanism is genuinely quite prevalent in society rather than those who think it's greatly exaggerated. However, just as with the political left/right thing, I sit firmly on the fence. There's probably something wrong, but as to how prevalent it is, I can't say. Nor would I venture a firm opinion as to whether there really are dark entities out there, or whether what matters most is that some people believe there are -- but admittedly my instincts lean more towards human beings being capable of, and projecting, evil rather than literal evil entities.

This might be expected from someone like me, who leans more towards superpsi + personal interpretation to explain the majority of unusual phenomena than towards positing rafts of entities of various types (from ghosts to demons to ETs and all the rest). I'm aware that I'm probably in a minority, possibly of one, on this forum, but there you go.

The advantage of sitting on the fence, as I see it, when one isn't sure about something is that it helps one to avoid being subject to emotional factors, of being governed by fear on the one hand and/or desire on the other. Alex and Ramsey seem to me to feel pretty sure, and to be driven by the passion that that can bring. But for me, who's nowhere near as sure, that's the kind of thing that I want to avoid, and that's why in many cases I'm somewhat of a philosophical sceptic.

Besides, confirmation bias is endemic in human beings and philosophical scepticism offers some protection against it.

Well done on making some sense of that podcast Michael, I tip my hat to you Sir.

I have long felt that the modern Left stands for quite different values than the Left of old - which was mainly about workers rights and wages, and above al peace. Likewise the "Alt-Right" seems pro-peace and stability, whereas the old Right was all in favour of war.

These political terms have been adopted for no good reason and simply confuse the issue.

Well, I've got to say, that fact that someone like Epstein could set up an island for paedophilia - complete with an airstrip - and then, when he was caught, given a derisory sentence of 13 months in jail (i.e. the system protected him) does suggest there is something pretty evil in the political classes.

Your excellent reply reminds me somewhat of the political horseshoe theory.
I have found politics getting confusing for me lately. A classic liberal myself, I find myself siding with many on the so-called right on many issues - notably the transgender theory.

That is roughly what happened to me, although my number one issue is peace. Trump is for avoiding wars, while the Democrats are more than happy to send US personnel to their deaths abroad for no real reason. However please go to the Trump thread to discuss all that further.
