I am guessing this is aimed at federal employees who consider themselves as part of the "resistance" and who think bureaucrats rather than elected representatives of the people are entitled to make policy decisions and determine the outcome of elections.

Yes, that's called monetary stimulus and its a can that's getting kicked down path. That said, the crystal meth being pumped into the system is called fiscal stimulus and Donald Trump's administration pulls all those strings. They are in concert and a coordinated effort between the two to maintain liquidity and stimulate the economy. Trump promised to eliminate the national debt when he was campaigning in 2016. When he took office the debt stood at 19.6t; it now stands at a new all time high of 27t. There's no free lunch so Trump must be part of the Lizardman cabal seeking to destroy you.

Again, you pretend to be educated on these topics when in fact you're simply a shill for your preferred party. Do better research, get better educated. Its galling.

I understand, but my comment has nothing to do with Trump. It has to do with some members who post on this forum based on their posts.

As to the aspect of our being that includes "soul" - that can be understood as either "real" or "metaphorical" and in either case, I stand by my observation and the words I used.

As to this US election, it could be anyone that is not part of the same overarching "group" that Joe Biden is a part of that I would be standing with. For me, it is not about Trump. For me, it is about the alternative if Trump loses (and the Senate is lost).

The US and the world are at stake. And even if, by some "miracle" Biden loses and even if, by some "miracle" the US Senate remains in Republicans hands +1 (as Romney is, like so many, held hostage by his embracement of hatred for Donald Trump), then that still only buys 4 years.

In the meantime, the COVID-19(84) planscamDEMic™ is still being used as the weapon it was made to be. In addition, there's no doubt there will be something more, something worse unleashed upon the planet.

Hey Chester, you sound extremely gloomy, have you given up on the hope of a big victory for Trump. If we get one, I don't think the likes of Romney will matter, I think the aberration which is the current Democratic party will reconnect with its traditional supporters, who don't want any of this nonsense - people like Tulsi Gabbard, who seems to see the need for peace as clearly as Trump. She must have had significant support to get on the short list for nomination.

I blow hot and cold about CV19. Britain seems to be steaming back into total lockdown, and yet people - particularly working people - know it is a hoax. The virus itself is quite weak, not even sickening the vast majority of people who get it. The real virus is the panic and over -reaction that has been stirred up. However that panic is sustained at the expense of destroying the credibility of the scientific ruling class (so to speak). "Top scientists" are going to have zero street cred at the end of this.

I loved science as a kid and young adult, but I hate what it has become, and I think that the only thing that can save it long term is a period of scorn and extreme lack of funds.

This evening we got back tired from a walk, and decided to get a takeaway rather than start cooking. I asked them is they knew about the latest rule changes that we are all supposed to follow. They didn't immediately understand what I was asking, but when they did, I said it didn't really matter because the whole pandemic was nonsense, and they all agreed.

Hi David, I live most of my moments optimistically. But that is stated from a selfish POV. But what I am concerned for is loved ones, friends and everyone else alive on this planet or soon to be born.

The "virus" (whatever may or may not be real about it) is being used to impose fear on the vulnerable. The sad thing is there appears to be too many vulnerable that succumb to fears. That is what saddens me.

Well I mean that angers me, but I sense that this may be the undoing of a whole swathe of the 'elite' who have promoted this nonsense. It is amazing how many people in Britain now see through the nonsense. Many of the kids just ignore the rules completely.

Oh yes indeed (in all honesty), it angers me a great deal. It is perhaps at the top of the list. But many other things anger me too that trace to the same factions/groups and what I prefer to experience is not this anger.
