I don’t know how it’s possible that you’ve followed this discussion for so long without realizing that the question isn’t whether there are diseases that kill people, but whether the diseases are caused by submicroscopic obligate intercellular parasites setting up replication factories.

What does any of this have to do with obligate intercellular parasites? Nothing at all.

I don’t accept the hypothesis, so I don’t really have an answer for “what I want to know about them” I am curious if you talk to people in real life the way you do online?

It’s funny how you can say anyone is “dancing around the main issue” when you’ve yet to answer whether or not you believe that there are submicroscopic obligate intercellular parasites that hijack living organisms to set up self replication factories.

Alex still hasn’t grasped that what’s being questioned is not the “symptoms of disease” or even “transmissibility”, but this idea that there are submicroscopic obligate intercellular parasites (are they alive?) that set up replication factories in the cells of living beings.

I get what you’re saying, but I don’t think Alex is being exasperating on purpose to make us all stronger. I think he’s got friends (or investments) in biotech / genomics and he’s aware how devastating this could be for an entire industry.

I’m really not sure you can legislate cognitive standards. You make good points, as usual, but we’re human beings. We do the best we can, let’s try to talk to each other like humans.

I would never feel confident in any system of standard cognition enough to feel I could teach it to other people. But you do your thing. I think the ”Virus” issue is simple enough to discuss among humans with imperfect cognitive standards. Unless one of the cognitive faults is to constantly...

I’m all for muddy water in general. But not when there are people hurling insults, accusing others of “being stupid”, then sinking directly back into the mud to avoid directly addressing the topic at hand.

How do you think the Reddit Virologist would respond if I shared this with him? Do you imagine that he’d actually answer any of them? He’d block me or accuse me of sharing misinformation (or is it disinformation?).
