What do you see in this photo? I’ve chosen one that is far older and more innocent than that which we see all over today in a way that would’ve been unthinkable even 50 years ago. This one was considered obscene, by a famous Czech holocaust survivor (Saudek, born May 1935). How is it today we see far worse and are expected not to object, not to see it as the work of ‘evil’ or of ‘Satan’ or of whatever new name you wan to give it?

Look, you have to appreciate that not everyone wants to - or can - just drop out of society and live in a cave and forage or grow their own food. If that's your trip and it works for you, then great. Enjoy. I wish you the best on your journey. But please don't get all superior and sanctimonious about your lifestyle versus theirs.
Also, just because you oppose a war doesn't make it wrong. Furthermore, if you pay taxes it's so, in part, you can have a piece of land to do your thing on and not have some barbarians come and kill you and take it. Living the simple life is great, but, once again, life ain't so simple when you really think about what it takes other people to do for you to enjoy your simplicity.

yeah, but I've had a bunch of these skeptics on the show over the last year... and I have another one with matt alper. in my opinion the arguments by these folks are getting weaker and weaker. none of them are up-to-date on the latest research. matt alper is proud of the fact that he hasn't touched his book since 2008... that's 12 years ago. wait until you hear his arguments they are embarrassing.

How about a biker gang, or drug smugglers/manufacturers, or white supremists, or some other murderous maniacs that should be in prison, but you didn't want to pay the taxes that pay for the judicial system and law enforcement. You use the internet. All sorts of things that cost money go into that. Come on. You are part of a much bigger system whether or not you want to admit it. At some level, that system even requires wars from time to time to keep things in balance and the barbarians at bey.
We're not going back to 10,000 BC. And given that we aren't, someone(s) needs to try to keep some order in this great big interconnected/interdependent world - and hopefully that someone(s) is able to do more good than harm in the balance.

I don't think it's defeatist it's more or less where you start and what your values are.
For me hearing about Satan does nothing, why? I don't but it, I think it's just a word thrown around. Besides what could a mere human do to Satan if God gave him the keys to the earth essentially?

The problem is that the US (among others) has (maybe had) become addicted to war - I mean Obama started two and a half wars while he was in power the second time (the half war being The Ukraine). Trump had the opportunity to start wars with Iran, Venezuela and NK, and ramp the Syrian war back up. Thank God he did none of those, because even if none of that had gone nuclear, it is inconceivable that anyone would have gained from them except perhaps the arms manufacturers and strutting generals. Vast numbers of people would have been killed, even more injured, and the cost would have been colossal.

The more I delve into Lucas, the more convinced I am that she's a phony and another psy-op (or, alternatively, another self-serving con artist that incidentally becomes a de facto psy-op). Her message is all anti-West, globalist/socialist ideology packaged in a story designed to make you feel guilty for questioning it. Also, she certainly gets a lot of positive attention and material benefits. The message is most appealing to - and is delivered most effectively to - the vulnerable and the marginalized and those predisposed to being anti-western civ. The story of victimhood is a good cover. One has the moral imperative to believe the victim lest she be further traumatized. Then one must become outraged and, perhaps, take action. Red flags waving everywhere.
I am now officially calling BS on Lucas. The message/op is delivered as a mix of sensationalism and vagueness. A classic red flag. Who was Lucas' mother? Who were the world leaders in the cult? Who was the one that saved her? Why did he save her (Lucas says out of love - really? The satanist with the heart of gold, huh?). How did Lucas survive for the 30 years between her alleged escape from the satanic sex ring and her appearance on the lecture series/establishment of her non-profit organization? Where was she? What was she doing? How did an 11 year old just move to New York City one her own? Elsewhere she says she left Belgium in her late teens.

She has said on some occasions that she has no physical scars from all of the abuse, yet on other occasions she has said that her arms were full of scars from cigarette burns (None are visible on her arms now in any videos I've seen of her).
She is an uneducated run-away from a foreign country, but she speaks flawless American English without an accent.
She is funded to work in a male prison system (with much sympathy expressed for the prisoners) despite her alleged abuse background. I find that to be contrary to the profile of an abused woman. Why isn't she exclusively working with women prisoners?

I think we are muddling up two different issues here. On the one hand we are talking about the horrid violence of war, and the way this has not always been used as an absolute last resort.
On the other hand we are talking about Anneke' claims. As I have already said, you (Eric) have consolidated some serious doubts in my head about whether her story is true - particularly the bit about this being part of a huge conspiracy. Is it possible that she may have been got at afterwards - while she was very vulnerable - and this idea was planted in her head?
One thing I do know, if we replaced the ruling elite in the World by a new revolutionary one, all kinds of extreme injustices would become commonplace. The answer has to be to fix the system - not replace it.

Just want to say I share your feeling that there’s something fishy about this story. Many of your objections were thoughts that also crossed my mind.
That said, I don’t know what kind of endgame she may be pursuing if any at all. Perhaps there’s no further point than to stay right where she is, doing this for her own benefit? I just don’t know.

I don’t see our current state of affairs as reflective of any kind of special virtuousness and despite potential weaknesses in a more leftward platform, I feel it is a necessary corrective. IMO she is a tool of some powers seeking to undermine western civ. Her story is an info/psy op.
The lesson here should be that we all need to evaluate why we are wanting to believe something when there is no real /tangible evidence to support any of it; just internet stories and "testimony" from shady characters.

Whether or not she is consciously perpetrating an info op is irrelevant. That is one of my points. Psy-ops, like I said, can be merely seeding the air waves, ether, or what have you with lies, ideologies, etc such that the info gets picked up and assimilated into the wider culture. It's even better that way because people who have assimilated the info can't point to a single source from which it came. It's just "out there" and that gives it a truthiness. Lucas may just be a confused (or insane) lost soul who is helping herself get attention and money, but she is doing so by utilizing the undermining conspiracy theory about western government that was originally quite deliberately seeded into the culture by enemies of western civ.
