Really? Do you want me to laugh at you now or later when Trump wins hands down? Leave your post up, let's see who is smarter; shall we??? Can't wait for the debate LOL, your man is a tool.
I'm a Bernie supporter and am not a fan of Biden but I would vote for a mop handle before I'd vote for Trump. I don't think I'm smarter...I actually wouldn't be surprised if Trump won again bc he can do anything and people still love him. I can't make sense of it.

WE ARE NOT SUPPOSE TO BE HERE. Do you want to do this? Fine. Bernie is a coward. He let the Beast jump all over him. Then he let Biden whip him. Do you really need to see the big L on his forehead? Now, again CHRIS if you want to keep this up take it to the Trump board. I'll meet you there. If I'm not there in 5 mins. cry on without me.

PS: Don't worry about voting for your girlfriend (the handle) she isn't qualified.

At least you are honest. Bernie is a full blown Marxist in his ideology. But in reality (as he has again proved), he's a sellout.

Why people love him is because he represents not becoming a marxist socialist totalitarian tyranny.
How is he a sellout? He never took corporate money like every other politician does... he's consistent in what he believes, unlike our current leader who has never been consistent in anything except causing destruction.

Okay, leave your post up because I'm about to blow you out of the water. You say the Bernster isn't a "sell-out" " never took corporate money"????? REALLY!? okay shorty, it's time the adults came to the table to educate you (again). Read it & weep: https://www.opensecrets.org/members-of-congress/contributors?cid=N00000528&cycle=CAREER

AND THIS: https://www.politifact.com/factchec...-sanders-has-taken-corporate-lobbyist-money-/

OUCH!
During the 2016 presidential campaign, when Sanders finished as runner-up to Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, it was reported that Sanders had received money from nearly two dozen registered federal lobbyists, including one from the National Mining Association.

And figures compiled by the Center for Responsive Politics, a nonpartisan nonprofit that tracks federal campaign contributions, show Sanders has received $3.35 million from "lawyers and lobbyists" since 1989.

"Corporate lobbyist" isn’t a precise term. But we can check Ocasio-Cortez’s claim based on whether Sanders has ever taken contributions from lobbyists who represent corporations, even if they amount to only a tiny percentage of all his campaign money.

In fact, there have been a number of such instances, dating back more than a decade.

HEY! WANT MORE??? Ah come on now.. let's talk COLLEGES! What did they run into the ground? GUESS! https://www.nytimes.com/2019/06/21/us/politics/jane-omeara-sanders-burlington-college.html

In his current campaign, according to the Center for Responsive Politics, Sanders has received contributions from at least two federally registered lobbyists. They include $100 from EY lobbyist Dave Koshgarian, whose clients include Boeing Co., MetLife Inc. and New York Life Insurance; and $27 from Netflix lobbyist Josh Korn.

The center told us it has not done a more complete analysis of lobbyist contributions to Sanders.

But we found that some larger donations were made in previous campaigns.
He did in the past but he made most of his money from small donations...who else did that?

Okay, either you are an idiot or you just think you can talk your way out of this. You can't. ya never should have put your eggs into a sellouts basket. You did. Sorry, you did. If you want to play with yourself go ahead. Everyone knows the truth. He did it all the way through. Via super PAC's, corp. handouts (call it what you want) through the DNC. Look I'm done with you. You lost. Sorry, not sorry. Don't take me on again. You will lose.

AND if David or Alex delete all our posts and tell us we're BAD! I will understand :) It's been fun CHRIS! LOL

I was wrong about him not taking any corporate money but it's still a fact, he got the majority of his money from small donations. You seem to be a very sensitive guy ..maybe don't get so worked up??? I can admit when I misspeak but you seem to relish in trying to "win" a small debate. I did like your "girlfriend" comment...it made me laugh at loud. Haha

I don't get "worked up" I simply win. What annoys me are people who can't see what is happening in the United States. We are under attack. What will it take for you to see? Have you seen N.Y.? Did you not hear what Chester & others have tried to tell you? Do you need your own house burned down to see? Millions wasted on a fake impeachment. The very criminals are in our agencies. This actually isn't a joke. I'm a patriot. I love my country. It is my home and the future for our children. People actually died for all of us. You are throwing it away. In the end, there will be no place for you to run. You just don't know how lucky you are to live in this country. But, it will be people like you who have a laissez-faire attitude towards our country that will destroy it. Once you do that, there will be no coming back. You think things are bad now? You have no idea exactly how bad it can get & will get sooner than later.

Grow up. Look learn the truth:

And I am not a "sensitive guy".

Maybe I can help you make sense of it. There are plenty of blacks who will point out that Trump did more for them than any democratic president (at least in recent times) has done. He reformed the laws that kept blacks in jail for way longer than necessary, and he boosted the economy rather than sacrificing the economy for (IMHO) phoney reasons such as 'climate change'.

People also realise that the president has been blamed for absolutely everything, from a murder committed by a policeman plus four other accessories, to a nasty virus that swept in from China. They also appreciate that the US has not started another war under Trump. Obama managed to trash Libya, almost trash Syria, and destabilise the Ukraine - causing a civil war. When I was young (and even when not so young), I went on Left demonstrations but they were about PEACE. I should have gone on Vietnam protests too, but I was too focussed on academic work, and anyway, Britain never got into that disaster. That was the time when the Left really stood for something valuable.

First off....is the economy really better? You have to look closer than just the stock market. People are barely surviving. They may have a job but it could be a minimum wage job. Also, its not really hard to blame him because he causes chaos every time he opens his mouth. A few things may seem to be be better but I know that can't be from him. He doesn't know anything about history, politics, or business. Maybe policies from previous presidents eventually started kicking in? Have you ever heard someone talk the way he does? This conversation was the greatest, we've done more etc. He hates himself so much that he has to try and make him self feel worthy...that's not a strong leader. He is a fanboy of tyrants...yikes. It's not hard to blame him...just watch him for a short time haha.

It's funny because I believe the exact opposite. I think Trump is dangerous and he needs to get voted out. Can't you see how mentally unstable he is? He's our savior???

Somehow you never got on to the most important issue - PEACE. The comparison between Obama and Trump is striking. Many poor men end up joining the military to get a decent job, and then they get sent off to some far flung place to kill or get killed. Every single military engagement risks a wider conflagration in which billions could die, and it is all for nothing. Libya is still in bits run by warlords, and Syria was only saved by the Russian takeover there, and Trumps unwillingness to put his troops in harms way. Iraq nearly got taken over by ISIS after all the previous US meddling in that country. The suffering and death - both in the US and abroad - that those militaristic policies produce, is appalling. He promised to stop that process when he was campaigning, and he has done what he said.

As a UK citizen it is easier for me to discuss that aspect of Trump's policies than the exact details of what his economic policies have achieved.

Trump is not peaceful haha...far from it. Did you not forget about North Korea? We could have gone to war when those two fragile egos were battling each other. He wanted troops in our streets just recently...peace, nah.

Isn't clear that the ego is running the world? I'm fighting people here about politics and my ego is getting the best of me...and everyone else's as well. I am entrenched in my pov and you guys are too. I don't have much hope for politics because its just a bunch of egos going at it. I think the course says it well "its not about changing the world, its about changing your mind about the world". Politics will never bring salvation, how could it?

It's no big deal... And I want to I don't want to get all militant about these threads, imagine it 6 months from now or a year from now someone wanted to follow up on the conversation with chris knowles. they start going through this thread and then they'd hit page after page of trump stuff.

that's why I think it's helpful to try and stay on topic.

Also, there was some really great stuff in the interview that we haven't discussed. I want to know what y'all think.

You're right, Alex.

I have no idea how we can stop this with journalist & the MSM. What's worse is that people just sit there believe & don't do any checking. I'm thinking people are becoming more informed & soon places like CNN will just fade away.
I agree. Corporate media is toxic.
I look to independent researchers for more accurate reporting. It’s sad that we cannot trust our media, doctors and politicians.
I have hope that people are catching on. It’s a hard thing to accept, from grade school we’re taught these people have our best interest at heart and they follow the truth. It’s obvious to anyone open now that it’s not the case.

I hope you're including the right wing media.
