Chris Knowles, The Descent Into Evil Thinking |450|

Everything begins with a thought. So, when I was young (like 17) you'd get invited to all kinds of parties. So, we went to one where the guy was... interesting. At that time I thought he was amusing to watch. I mean I didn't get "involved" but he'd have childrens tombstones as coffee tables (he stole from old cemeteries), upside-down crosses in his apartment. So we'd all go listen to music. Have a laugh.

Of course, you grow up & move on. Some people don't move on! He moved on to ask us to let him & his new tribe of "worshippers" into closed state parks. Full moon & all. So I said sure. I watched his tribe so nothing weird would go down. Beautiful girls, nice boys & some older people just 1 or 2. They did their voodoo as I watched from afar. Nothing except dancing, fire & stupid chants. I'm not into that, it's stupid. But, the girls this was a hook up for them, like w/the riots. Look at a lot of the white girls with the hot pants & miniskirts. Some of them are real U G L Y. (sorry/just true).

Some of these people have nowhere to go I guess or it's just a novelty. But once you grow up for Gods sake this insanity! SPIRT DINNERS!? WTH are those people thinking? ADULTS doing this? Now, you're into crazy land.

It worked as a pickup for kids or teens but once this goes past kids being stupid.. we're onto a WHOLE other level of crazy.

I think it must be like the criminals that get into pornography... the criminals tell us in all studies, they started out small then it grew more violent to get off.

OH YES, we must study the psychopaths & sociopaths. We need to learn to spot them. They think they are smarter than us... and in the general trusting public, it must be like shooting fish in a barrel.

I'm looking real close at Gates & Fauci, something is off about both of them. We don't want to believe it is possible. But, it might be possible they are evil nut jobs. (?) Hate to judge when I don't know for sure. We surely need Alex's wife to look at Gates for us. He'd be the real problem for us. We know his sketch background but (?)......
I never believed the stuff about Gates until a few months ago. I do now.

As I was involved with remote viewing in the 90s
wow... fascinating.

Another observation is that remote viewers, like many practitioners of specialized or highly skilled tctivities, do tend to get an elevated view and opinion of themselves
haha... seems to be true :) same goes for some mediums and sage-on-the-stage gurus. seems like a blocking of Spiritual Development

Chief amongst these things is that love and compassion are very important, and if you think about it these are things that bring us together.
nice!

On the question of inviting evil entities, I don’t see that this is fundamentally different then interfacing with and giving in to fellow humans who are not pursuing the good.
agreed... as below so above.

At some point in this kind of downward spiral a person loses their moral/spiritual bearings and other lost entities, human or otherwise, find their next cohort.
this is totally in line with what I've been hearing. but I've also heard/believe that the light is always there... and since were a part of it we can always return to it. the secret of the ascent is to look up :)

Chris Knowles mentions how those who got involved with the occult came to a bad end and warns to avoid going there. I agree. God provides us with Angelic protection during our journey through life but if we, by invitation summon evil it is quite willing to accommodate us. Not much thought is required for a sensible person to soon conclude that their counter productive demonic diversion is a waste of time. They would be better to choose to garden.
I like your view on Gods angelic protection through our journey. I struggle with accepting this at times as innocence is harmed (children and animas for example.) I often have to remind myself that I’m not meant to understand it all. All I can do is send thoughts of light to another’s pain.
I heard this saying ages ago, don’t know who said it but I think it’s perfect when it comes to matters of the occult..... “Those who study evil are studied by evil”

When people think life is meaningless and everything is about “me” a deep hollowness developes. People seem to fill it with drugs and derangement. It’s a form of distraction. I see them as a soul primary in pain as they don’t know authentic self. I hope no one is born evil and it’s a case of hurt creates hurt or mental illness.
I wouldn’t accept a glass of water from Bill Gates. When you look into his parents and their beliefs it’s easy to see how he became what he is. Anyone who wants control over another is dangerous.

I see this kind of differently. to me, it looks like climbing the ladder to get to the top and then realizing you were leaning against the wrong wall. this is spiritual materialism... shut up and calculate... shut up and incantate :)

OK, I see that... but - Please, Alex... I know you like to keep things short - but please, read and respond.

Now let me share an example. Almost a year ago, my 25 year old son (middle son) accused me of a horrific crime and went to the police about it. 11 days after he had gone to the police (and I was completely unaware of any of it), he came to my home and accused me directly. I called the police, I called my lawyer, I insisted on a polygraph and, two weeks after he came to my home, I was called by a detective where I met with him the next day for an hour. My wife and step-daughter were with me and so when I came out of the interview, they told me that they saw two things on his face... that he believed me, but also, that he felt really bad for me (because this was no different than losing your son to a death). The next week I had the polygraph and passed with flying colors - the polygraph examiner is considered the #1 examiner in the state... and then, a short while after, I received a letter from the state that I had been cleared of all charges.

I e-mailed all the information to my son and... he is dug in. He is totally dug-in. He believes I scammed the polygraph somehow, he believes the police are inept... he is totally committed to his complete fantasy.

So with all that in mind, I have fantasized that somehow, someway, he would see the light, see the truth... know that he was wrong, know that what he accused me of was an impossibility, impossible for the person I am, the person he had first hand experience with for 25 years... the person who moved from another country just seven years before to help him overcome his own personal challenge that he experienced when 18 years old and faced a decade in prison for...

I just wish he would come to the knowing of the truth - that's it. And if ever I could use a "technology" that could push him towards that truth, I would want to use it. Is that "material"? Isn't prayer (and you can bet that I have prayed and prayed he simply see the truth), isn't prayer like a form of magic? If so, is that climbing the wrong wall to want my son to free himself of his own self-deception? As that is what I am motivated by. His freedom.

And so if there be a technology that triggers the open door to the truth... and that he then, by his own free will, chooses to go through that door and decide - and that technology was in the form of a magical formula... Would I be evil to attempt it?

[EDIT ADDED 2020-06-18] The natural technology I was considering was to enlist a spirit being known for their prowess at dream implantation to implant a dream where my son would see me as I truly am... a being wholly and completely incapable of anything of the nature he believed I did. The dream would be the truth. The goal would be that he be attracted towards the truth instead of all and only "dug in" by a solid block that is at an ego-state level of his being... perhaps the result of trauma(s) he experienced in this lifetime and has blocked, perhaps from one or more past lives and perhaps there is outside interference involved as well.

By the way - that I am able to post about this (and with the details) suggests that which I feel is real... that I am free or at least mostly free of this. Having said that, it is my love for my son that I wish so much for his own freedom as I am of the opinion he is far from such.

wow... I really feel for you and what your family is going through. that's got to be so so tough. also responded with private message.

Do any of you think we can ever understand these other realms? Is there real knowledge, where everybody can agree?

I think we can compile the experiences and testimonies of quality mediums, NDErs,
and perhaps especially out of body practicioners like Bob Monroe and Tom Campbell etc. There is consistency to be found there. I think all we can say is that reality seems infinitely complex and that there and a potentially infinite number of realms and situations and that these realms vary in terms of their physicality, rules of nature, and the environments response to our minds, which is to say a lot of these other realms appear thought responsive in ways that would appear magical to us here. But the environment is thought responsive here as well. Just in smaller ways. Think placebo effect and quantum physics etc. Thats my best understanding anyways. I don’t think we can be certain of anything however. I although I do think people with first hand experience of these realms can partially understand these other realities.

Alex, what’s your obsession with this evil thing? Did enjoy the interview though.

Is Love the answer? Is there a guiding principal to our lives here? These are the answers I want to know.

My advice, Chris, is to just carefully read the four Gospels of Jesus: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John in the New Testament of the Bible. A total of a mere 250 or so pages. All the answers you seek you will find there. As you read you will learn how corrupted some so called, "Christian" religions have become. Among the instructions the Son of God, Jesus provides for us in those pages He says, "I give ye a new commandment, that ye love one another." (John 13:34) kind best wishes to you. ~g

Love is a powerful and re-occurring theme in spiritually transformative experiences of all sorts. Especially the NDE. It’s seems thats it’s a very powerful force, at a minimum. Some go as far to say that it’s a main or THE main fabric of reality. I don’t think we understand the true power of it while incarnated here.

But part of evil is wanting to impose your will on another being, even if they benefit. Prayer is sending love to that person, but it is their choice to accept or deny it. Prayer is an offer, occult magik or rituals is a command. These are the different walls.

But part of evil is wanting to impose your will on another being, even if they benefit. Prayer is sending love to that person, but it is their choice to accept or deny it. Prayer is an offer, occult magik or rituals is a command. These are the different walls.

I understand this point of view but if you read my post carefully, I am not seeking to impose my will. Please, read my idea further down.

Problem 1

"Prayer is sending love to that person, but it is their choice to accept or deny it."

And so what this suggests is that I take no action other than "sending love." The problem is, I loved my son dearly and unconditionally from the day I became aware he was conceived all the way through up to today and I always will.

But that love did not prevent him from digging his hole and digging it deep. And so why would it not be an act of love to, say for example, command a spirit that sends dreams to send a dream to my son that led him to the doorway he might consider he had made a terrible error in judgment. He doesn't have to go through that door and if he doesn't things remain the same. But if the dream (which would be a dream of the actual truth) happened to have an impact upon him where he rose to the occaision and went through that door, the freedom he would experience from such a burden of serious, relationship killing false belief might be dramaticly positive for him, for his wife (the mother of my grand children) as well as my grand children.

Problem 2

There is nothing in my above example that is commanding my son in any way. The command, be there such, would be upon the spirit to perform the task of dream implantation.

I see no difference in doing this then an advertising agency does when they create an advertisement with the use of subliminals.

Possible Problem 3

Because I have studied (to some extent), the histories of religions, the history of magic and the history of philosophy, it has become clear to me that magic was viewed as a technology and it wasn't until 2,000 or so years ago this view began to change. In addition, the rise of monotheistic religions, and the Abrahamic religions seemed to be a critical "game-changing" paradigm shift.

I get the metaphor of the two walls... but I see that at one time, there wasn't two walls. Just because there are now, could the creation of that idea there's a second wall actually be the true evil, the true error?

Let me try and ask it like this - Years ago, humans began to domesticate animals to assist them with things like farming and transportation. Why isn't doing the same thing with a spirit any different?

It sounds like remote viewing (as it was used in your era of involvement) was used as a component of an assessment that would either raise or lower the confidence rating of the conclusion(s) of an assessment.
Remote viewing has not changed in respect to it's accuracy and reliability. Sometimes a session delivers vey useful information and sometimes not, so when the target/objective has to do with a mix of things that are known and not knowm the analyst first looks for information in a session that matches what is known. In this way one can gauge how useful other information in that same session may or may not be. Multiple viewers/sessions on the same target also provides an evaluative measure.

wow... fascinating.

haha... seems to be true :) same goes for some mediums and sage-on-the-stage gurus. seems like a blocking of Spiritual Development

agreed... as below so above.

Alex, we are on the same page, including that the light is always accessible with nothing out there able to stop us, its all within us.

I understand your point. Similiar to using a spell to heal a person without their knowledge. I don't know if this is possible with ritual magic as I am not very familiar with it. Even John Michael Greer, who seems to be a nice and intelligent guy, has recommended/tramslated books that require parts of dead animals in the ritual. Correct me if I'm wrong. If one were to kill an animal to gain some sort of magical power, this to me is wrong. Also, what if you were successful and later on your son found out what you did. Would he be ok with it? Would it put doubt back into him? If you force a drug addict into rehab against their will, what is the success rate? I think long, lasting change and growth has to come from inside the person. Care but don't control. Sounds like you have a very difficult situation and I'm sure my viewpoint would be different in your shoes. Very grey area.

Many past thinkers have pointed out that, stripped of religious inclination, magic is merely the strange twin of science, IE. the satisfaction of human needs via the application of laws and methodology.

There might be something to this line of thinking.

Also, maybe this is why so may spiritual paths stress the importance of moral growth coming before the attainment or practice of any special powers.

imagine if Jeff Long claim that Cardiac Arrest patients with a Bible next to their bed were twice as likely to have a positive near-death experience

Imagine if it did? That would be weird.

This reminds me, next time a priest/theologian/whatever does a debate with a sceptic, I would love for him to ditch the excruciating politeness, stand up on his chair, and call down the mighty judgmental wrath of God on his unbelieving opponent. For one, it would be great TV, and, who knows, it might just work.

I think we can compile the experiences and testimonies of quality mediums, NDErs,

Except all of the above could be working on different levels of reality. For example, the places OOBE and NDE people visit might be totally different. Same goes for psychedelic trips, etc.

To borrow a phrase, a "Spiritually Transformative Experience" may be required. Such events may be precipitated by a personal choice after a horrifying dream. When a person is fully fed up and disgusted with themselves over the path they are on and finally choose to make a change is when their personal Angel will return to their aid providing the intuition needed along the way. Our Angel prefers to see us make it back Home unhampered by bad baggage, provided compliments of Beelzebub we might have picked up during our journey on Earth.

But as I raved and grew more fierce and wild
At every word,
Methought I heard one calling, Child!
And I replied My Lord.

Yea I agree and I sort of spoke to that when I said something like “infinitely complex and a potentially infinite number of realms.” It seems to be that these other realms are impossible to quantify or qualify. But I think we can get some kind of idea of what some of them are like. And it seems that many of them are a lot like our current realm. Which shouldn’t be surprising. I think the biggest mystery comes in when we try to determine how NDErs and OBErs (oftentimes) find themselves in a physical earth like realm WITH a very real PHYSICAL body. It’s hard to fathom. But guys like William Buhlman and many other explorers feel that we are multidimensional and already have lives and body’s in some of these other realms. And that when we visit them, we are merely “tuning in” to something that’s already happening and existing. And it will continue to exist after we are done “visiting.”

I've heard it said it's like turning channels on a tv or radio.
