Is the paradigm of death upside down?

The commonly accepted reality is that at the time of death, the person dies and the body is left behind. Maybe it’s the opposite? Is it possible that the body is what disintegrates and the person remains intact?

In our work doing Family Constellations - and from the evidence accumulated in NDE experiences - it appears the human consciousness survives bodily death and remains in relationship with the living. Our clinical practice works to bring the relationship between the living and the dead into harmony. Taken to its furthest implication, it suggests that the body is what ceases to exist and the person continues indefinitely.

Any thoughts or comments are appreciated.
