... For me, the best chapter is with regards to the Temple of Set and Michael Aquino. It also received Flower's clear preference as the best Left Hand Path organization/movement...
have you looked into Michael Aquino? He's exactly the kind of guy that makes it hard to find any discernment among left-hand pathers.

I have investigated both Michael Aquino and the Temple of Set to a great degree.

That is why I appreciated the final chapter of Flower's book as it painted a clear sympathetic view of the Temple of Set with regards to "emulating" all the tenets of the Left Hand Path. I noted how segments of the book defended against the "Satanic Panic" claims. I address that further in this post.

Please remember my appreciation for the attribution to General Patton as to the "education" one achieves when reading books authored by one's perceived enemies. ;)

What I have long ago concluded (which, of course, had to be left out of the Flower's book) is all the "purported" dark stuff.

First, in the course of my investigation, I attempted to apply to the Temple of Set. I did not make it through the process because the individual who was doing the "interview" portion, dragged that portion of the process way, way out. I eventually concluded that "he" could see, I was not "Temple of Set" material. Understand, my conclusion is an assumption, not fact... but I have more to add on this. It appeared that they were looking for individuals who "believed in" magick (spelling it the way Crowley did). But it didn't stop there - they appeared to be looking for people who had a history of practicing "ritual black magick."

No wonder I was "dragged out" as I only practice one form of magick which I named clear magick which is neither so called "white" or black magic as the primary property of this form of magick is to refrain from outcome projection and instead, place the outcome (metaphor here) "in the loving arms of the wisdom of the universe." Some would call that, "placing the outcomes in God's hands."

Why would I imply "magick" is an element of my own process? Because I allow my emotions to rise, I allow myself to recognize the emotions that arise and I identify (and thus target) the reasons for their arising. Essentially I celebrate the arising of compassion and empathy and then... I cast that emotional energy to the universe whereby I end up with the post-emotional state composed of faith and trust as... what does it matter anyway if... (darkness wins out?)

Now, back to Aquino... Presidio... I know all about it. I know all about the "Satanic Panic" (the information campaign to quell the investigative efforts - to label those efforts much like the idea the C.I.A. is credited for creating... "conspiracy theory."

I procured:
Overthrowing the Old Gods: Aleister Crowley and the Book of the Law (May 19, 2014)
The Temple of Set Vol I (December 2, 2014)
The Temple of Set Vol II (December 2, 2014)
Mindwar (August 9, 2014)
MindStar (March 12, 2017)
FindFar (March 12, 2017)

I also read parts of: Extreme Prejudice: The Presidio Satanic Abuse Scam
I also have several Don Webb books as well as a good three dozen of the classics and/or recognized LHP authors.

I have investigated LHP carefully. True Gnosticism is LHP.

This is why I designated a difference in the myriad of potential "directions" of LHP where I would place myself as Left Hand Path UP as opposed to LHP Lateral or, as may be the case with anything that practices intentional magick (the worst IMO is the so called "white magicians), witchcraft, Satanism and Luciferianism.

What is not proven to me is "the dark stuff" attributed to these forms of LHP. Guess what? I don't need "proof" to suspect the possibility of "dark shenanigans." I refrain from putting any percentage on what may actually be the truth(s) in this regard but I will say this -

I operate that such exists, that is as "dark" as some have testified and/or speculated, that the practice of "ritual abuse" and "ritual sacrifice" is most likely viewed as a "very real" tool by some that walk our Earth and that perhaps some of these have formed groups whereby they perform such practices with goals agreed to by the group in mind.

As someone who identifies as LHP, put me in the category with folks like Miguel Conner.

And take heart that my magickal practice is as I identified above - clear magick.

how do you understand the Michael Aquino case/history/reality as it relates to LHP? ( I think obscures rather than clarifies)

BTW I'm sure Debbie Nathan is a fan :)

The 'Conspiracy' Against Michael Aquino – Satanic Pedophile

by Anthony Forwood

For those who don’t know, Michael Aquino was a Psychological Warfare Specialist in the US Army from 1968 until 1990, when he was involuntarily discharged as a result of investigations into his involvement in the ritual sexual abuse of children at the Presidio Day Care Center in San Francisco. Throughout this same time, he has also been a devout satanist and self-confessed neo-Nazi. He joined Anton LaVey’s Church of Satan in 1969, staying until 1975 when he left to start his own Temple of Set, which has been in operation ever since.

Please note here that both psyops and satanism involve using many levels of deception and coercion to manipulate the perceptions of others for ulterior motives, so these are skills that Aquino is very familiar with and very comfortable in using. He is also an expert in propaganda and skilled in techniques for disseminating misinformation/disinformation, and using misdirection, confusion tactics, isolation techniques, and revisionism. Therefore, he will certainly use these skills to defend himself against the truth of his actions.

Michael Aquino explains that his name keeps coming up in pedophile-ring cases because he’s the victim of a conspiracy (a ‘black bag job’, as he calls it). He bases this on the fact that he’s a satanist and so people just automatically hate him because of it. Unfortunately for him, making such a bad choice in lifestyle and philosophy doesn’t excuse him from anything, although in his particular case it certainly does lend weight to the allegations against him and even invites them, so he shouldn’t really complain about it. He tends to keep his perceptions of all this bad publicity focused strictly on the Presidio child abuse case in which he was a central figure during the 1980s, since that’s the only one he’s ever had to legally defend himself against (so far). Even in this one isolated case, he only dares to focus on it as far as his own limited version of the facts go, and he totally avoids acknowledging the larger body of evidence that implicates him personally. Similarly, he totally overlooks the longer history of events he’s been implicated in by various sources who are far removed from one another and who couldn’t possibly be engaged in any sort of conspiracy against him.

Whatever the case, I’m not going to attempt to detail all of the evidence against Michael Aquino here, since there’s far too much of it for this short article. I merely want to put his claim of conspiracy into proper perspective, in order to show how absurd it really is.

Time after time, Michael Aquino has been pointed at as a ruthlessly evil defiler and abuser of the most innocent and defenseless among us – young children – and it was as early as 1980 that the putrid history of his involvement in pedophilia and mind control can be traced back to (at least in the public records), but it probably goes back much further. The following provides a short historical record of events that ties Aquino to a larger criminal syndicate operating through the US government, and reveals his position within it.

Every single one of us "interprets" data and forms conclusions (although I strive to view my conclusions as temporary operational assumptions).

Flowers does a scholarly investigation of the origins of and the meaning of RHP and LHP. He then makes a scholarly effort to examine several different "movements" as to whether they emulate or not LHP standards. That's all he does in the book, Lords of the Left Hand Path.

So a.) he is using his definition of Left Hand Path and then b.) he analyzes what he concludes are the fundamentals behind each of the movements he examines to determine how well they emulate or not LHP principles (according to his determination as to what those are).

The key difference between LHP and RHP (as Flowers puts forth) is... RHP is the pathway to self annihilation where the adherent to any form of RHP is subjecting themselves to an external authority which eventually results in their self-annihilation.

The LHP adherent (and when consciously accepted, they become a practitioner) is to be committed to the retention of one's individuation and to never submit one's will to any third party (to maintain full, 100% responsibility of oneself and one's actions (including words, written and spoken... even including thoughts one chooses to own... and that if one avoids the choice to own or reject any thought, that is shirking one's personal responsibility).

Everything I wrote above regarding LHP is found in all paths that claim to be LHP if these are truly the foundational principles (as Flowers and others suggest). But that does not mean that any LHP practitioner has to go the way of practicing magick (other than the form I mentioned, clear magick), especially if that magick brings (or has the intent to bring) "dark experiences" upon others... yet, those who practice this type of magick (including ritual abuse and ritual sacrifice) may still "believe in" and thus strive to adhere to the foundational principles of LHP that differentiate LHP from RHP.

I studied this for a decade... even more. I achieved understanding of the differences. I understand how people often paint a classification (LHP) with the same brush - a brush that is an example of the worst of the worst of any example of any classification. No one makes and LHP adherent and adherent/practitioner "do dark things." LHP does not make an individual "do dark things," but I firmly believe that a person inclined to be evil and do evil, if they discover and explore LHP, may become (but by choice) more evil and thus more inclined to do evil.

This is my full position on the entire matter and I view any evil act of any being (conscious agent) their own personal responsibility and I hold all of us (myself first) 100% accountable for all our actions, words (written and spoken) and for the importance of maintaining self honesty with regards to one's thoughts as they face each thought with regards to which they would chose to own.

It's a simple operational formula and it allows an individual to understand that thoughts which pop into one's head are not necessarily "self-created." They can originate as co-creations or originate from something external... and so, partially or fully, these thoughts are what others impose upon each of us via all sorts of subliminal practices and/or via technologies (if they exist) of thought implantation. By understanding that, it becomes abundantly clear that, it isn't the thoughts one has that one can base a self-judgment as to whether one is "good" or "bad," but one damn well could (and IMO should... at least I speak for myself in this regard) judge myself by the thoughts I consciously chose to own OR if I avoid this personal responsibility of self examination of my thoughts, I am avoiding my personal responsibility in consideration of others and myself.

Few have studied Michael Aquino and the grander scenario then I have. I have truly dedicated 18 years to the subject and spent immense hours on it. The bigger picture (meaning what is suggest as "true" by folks like David Icke) and dozens and dozens of self claimed "witnesses" and the incredible testimonies they provide, make it impossible (IMO) for anyone to arbitrarily dismiss the very worst case scenarios many have summarized to be "happening' on Earth at this time.

I define "good" as "Life appreciating, life protecting, creating life opportunity for others and oneself."

I define "bad" as everything "anti-life."

My own journey has led me to a place where its very difficult to join witch hunts or to charge another with dangerous crimes without the proof needed to convict them in a court of law. In this regard, I have given up expecting "courts of law" to be fair and for "Lady Justice" to be blind.

Don't read into anything I have written that I give Michael Aquino a pass. But understand, its not up to me anyways... yet I will say that Michael Aquino (based on the beliefs I "believe" he holds) believes the "he" (his soul) can and will continue. And, if even a smidgen of what has been suggested to be true about Aquino and the folks he's associated with), I am extremely happy I am not his soul.

...It's a simple operational formula...
I think I understand where you're coming from... and that's how I took it, an "operation formula." I'm just not convinced it's a very good one... particularly because I don't agree with the black / White dichotomy he posits.

for example, on the left hand side I'm not convinced that he's factored in the deceptive nature of people like a Aquino and some of the other folks we've mentioned in this thread. some of this is self preservation... people who are facing long prison sentences for sex crimes against children will do and say anything... but some of it is deception of the evil kind ( assuming one accepts a Consciousness hierarchy in a moral imperative). I'm not convinced flowers has incorporated this in.

regarding the right hand path, as I've mentioned I'm a Mickey singer in Eckhart Tolle fan... I'm not sure I could jam their philosophy into the right-hand path he's describing.

Left hand right hand have many different philosophies and branches. Right hand imo has more violence under its umbrella then the left hand path. They are both the same to be honest it comes down to the person's intent and where they project their energy. The rest is cosplay, left hand path does not equate to Satan which is a made up character.

Many left hand Path people believe Robert anton wilson was a left hand path. Not that he "practiced" any rituals or what not, but he was a free and enlightened thinker, J Krishnamurti was considered another left hand path. Not because of magick or ritual but because of his foundations of philosophies. Think for yourself, save yourself and ignore your thoughts etc nietzsche uberman philosophy is can fall under left hand path to the ubermench. It's about the evolution of the person to be something better greater, it's not synomous with evil.
You have to ask yourself how much progress have humans made reading the Bible or quaran? We still go to war, kill, rape, steal lie and cheat. Religion is right hand path. So what's really evil?

For me left hand was more about independent thinking, research, being agnostic towards everything and to question everything and study. As well as develop "good" morals and stick by them. For me I love animals, I advocate for them and also help out at shelters.

A "Mystic" reminds me of a left hand path person. Study Meditate and introspection. When I re read the Bible I realized the" god" in the Bible was very violent and jealous. So I would contemplate on that for example. But this board has a heavy euro slant so I don't know how much more I can say about the atrocities of religions from your cultures and Islam as well

We completely agree - Flowers did not articulate any of the "Left / Down" stuff and in fact, he's lined up with the "information campaign" (painting it all as "Satanic Panic" nonsense) - (you and I might believe it is a disinfo campaign... and in speaking for myself only, that is what I put my money on)... so there's an effort to paint LHP as - the Solitary Being / "the rebel" (Set) / Outsider / Independent / "personally responsible" path... and all those qualities can be held by someone or by individuals within a group that also take steps to do the most horrific things to others for whatever reasons/goals they "believe" they can achieve with those methods

regarding the right hand path, as I've mentioned I'm a Mickey singer in Eckhart Tolle fan... I'm not sure I could jam their philosophy into the right-hand path he's describing.
Makes sense to me because as long as he holds to "soul" (where individuation is implied), and to retain that individuation is a desire/goal, etc... that would certainly not be RHP within Flower's definition.

Here's a quote I just found attributed to Singer:

There is nothing more important to true growth than realizing that you are not the voice of the mind – you are the one who hears it.
– Michael Singer, The Untethered Soul

This sounds like an ode to the importance of retention of individuality as seems the title of his book, too. (I just ordered it).

With that said I believe since some (not all) left hand paths have a satanic or the improperly mistranslation "lucifer" those two terms were meshed together and have no relation to each other.
So speaking for some left hand practitioners, they see Satan as rebelling from God's command and being independent, even though Satan is a noun and is not real. The left hand path is about becoming your own God more or less. So they venerate the qualities associated with every adversary (Satan) in the Bible. Satan broke off became independent and thought on his own he rebelled against tyranny. That's the common theme in the psyche of many humans. But if you read the Bible the serpent was never associated with Satan either. Regardless uninformed or misinformed left hand path people are technically right hand path as well. It's all the same, without right hand path books there is no God or Satan as other cultures before them they don't exist in the pantheon. So the terms to me atleast are moot. It's all the same stuff, different philosophies of Satanism just like different sects of Christians.

Both paths usually trip up in themselves I see them as untied shoe laces, left shoelace right shoelace eventually both get tied up in ego. Right hand paths kill murdered and rape through ego and their God being the right one and other gods false and religions etc. And left hand Path the same they think they're God's get caught up in a God complex, start a cult etc it's all the same

agreed. The other distinction he's making... and I think it's really really important but subtle... is that our concept of our individuality is largely a misconception of the events of our life. it's like thinking that the guy who cut you off on the freeway is it total left hand pather jerk when the reality is he's a super nice guy who had his side view mirror in the wrong position. take this example and multiply it a million times a million and you'll have an idea of what I think Singer is talking about. Not saying he's right... just saying that's the distinction he's making. a big part of our reality and our that yoice that's telling us who we think we are is based on a series of misunderstandings and our reaction to them.

Well my point is, is this just about people with power behaving extremely badly, or about evil conscious entities of some sort?

The point is that most of us don't come to a podcast like that with a ton of background reading about who is who in American public life. Even a small piece of the saga, such as the Epstein scandal shows cleary the scale of the problem - and as I pointed out, it also seems to show that the authorities are dragging their feet about exposing everything that Epstein was up to.

I should say that I am only half way through the podcast at this time.

I'm listening (again) to this show & I don't understand. What are we looking for? Evil? If it's there? Yeah, it's there. Is it bad? Yeah, it's BAD. Is it widespread? Yes. Is anyone doing anything? Well, I mean... as much as one can do. I mean, I don't understand what the questions are? 150 kids were found & saved in Atlanta in a basement. Almost a million kids a year go missing in the USA. Loons like the Clintons are walking free who were at the Epstein island. The tunnels were blown up. The FBI was all over that island.

But, most kids that are used in these cults/satan/sacrifices are from 3rd world countries. Hence "the wall". Don't get me started on Hollywood & how it is involved in making society sick (er).

What is the question? To Alex, how far down the rabbit hole do you want to go? You know enough. Look, I'm going to tell you something... remember Adam Walsh? .. when we were all looking for him... how do I say this? Okay, he was murdered & not in a good way. To know the details will mess you up. To actually LOOK at what is & how deep will take you down a path to where you can't return. You can't unsee or unknow.

IF you look all the way, the depth of the insanity, the horrors would change you. You can't go there. You've gone far enough. Anyone who looked & knows enough knows this is evil.

So, is Alex asking (or trying to figure out) if this kind of evil "otherworldly"? Or just crazy people? It's both. To be honest, I'd say at this point we'd be better off just putting down these sick freaks as we find them. They can't be "cured".
