Couldn't that just be that Dean sees humans as much easier to deal with? You can ask a human subject to think about some specific other person when an indicator comes on, but you can't do the same with an animal - at least not so easily.

Were it just that one thing maybe. But given much of what is expressed by Radin - that leaning seems clear. And that's okay. That perspective - though inaccurate - doesn't mean that much of his work isn't valid.
