The #QAnon Conciousness Phenomena

On February 1st I began working 24/7 to add a new location for one of my businesses. I haven't been online for more than a week.

Has confidence in #QAnon's predictive ability gone up, or down while I've been away?

A school in Florida that dumped the Common Core program in favor of traditional teaching methods has soared to the number one position in the State’s top schools list, according to government statistics.
...
Mason Classical Academy, a charter school in Naples, Florida, decided against forcing kids to learn the Obama endorsed Common Core method of teaching, due to the way it deliberately dumbs down children and created unnecessary and complicated methods for working out relatively simple problems.

https://pjmedia.com/video/sharyl-attkisson-explains-tedx-talk-origins-2016-fake-news-narrative/

Attkisson pointed out that "fake news" in the form of tabloid journalism and false media narratives has always been around under different names.

But she noticed that in 2016, there seemed to be a concerted effort by the MSM to focus America's attention on the idea of "fake news" in conservative media. That looked like a propaganda effort to Attkisson, so she did a little digging and traced the new spin to a little non-profit called "First Draft," which, she said, "appears to be the about the first to use 'fake news' in its modern context."

"On September 13, 2016, First Draft announced a partnership to tackle malicious hoaxes and fake news reports," Attkisson explained. "The goal was supposedly to separate wheat from chaff, to prevent unproven conspiracy talk from figuring prominently in internet searches. To relegate today's version of the alien baby story to a special internet oblivion."
...
"What if the whole anti-fake news campaign was an effort on somebody's part to keep us from seeing or believing certain websites and stories by controversializing them or labeling them as fake news?"

Digging deeper, she discovered that Google was one of the big donors behind First Draft's "fake news" messaging. Google's parent company, Alphabet, was run by Eric Schmidt, who happened to be a huge Hillary Clinton supporter.

Has confidence in #QAnon's predictive ability gone up, or down lately?

It works like most things. People who believe are more convinced and people who don't believe are more unconvinced. And the two groups spend a lot of time on the internet calling each other names.

One recent "confirmation" was after the school shooting, Hillary didn't tweet anything (supposedly because she is in jail) and only after that was mentioned on 8chan (in the q forum) did Bill Clinton tweet something.

As far as I can tell, at the current time, the best place to see q's posts is here:

Would you believe North Korea is controlled by the CIA?
Would you believe Guantanmo Bay prison is filled to capacity with deep state shadow government Illuminati and they are opening a new facility?
They will be tried by military tribunals?
That mass shootings in the US are caused by CIA mnid control? That it works through cell phones?
That large numbers of scientists who have found cures for diseases have been murdered to preserve profits for pharmaceutical companies which would lose money if people got cured?

etc. etc.

Thank you for the update and link Jim.

This #QAnon thing is fascinating, but he harms his credibility by going a bit too far.

Hillary in custody would be impossible news to suppress. "Illuminati" is meaningless descriptor these days. North Korea is indeed a stage show managed by Globalists. 80-90% of the mass shootings over the last 10 years have serious problems with being what they are portrayed as.

(Example: Houston reporter talks with student who was with Nikolas Cruz while shooting was happening, fast-forward this video to time 12:11)

The Big Pharma deaths are indeed weird.

However, I'm intensely angry that U.S. Troops are fighting in Syria. Why the HECK is that not national news 24/7?! It's not even mentioned!

"Deep state shadow government illuminati" is my way of expressing it. Basically elite criminals in and out of government who are controlling things from the shadows..

Here is an example of pharmaceutical company greed: Combinations of inexpensive non-prescription drugs are sold for thousands of dollars a bottle yet patients could buy the same medicine at the drug store without a prescription.

https://arstechnica.com/science/201...kes-to-3000-separately-the-two-drugs-cost-36/
Drug maker hikes price of 2-in-1 painkiller >2,000%—$36 drugs now $3,000
The combination is naproxen (in Aleve) and stomach drug esomeprazole (in Nexium).
BETH MOLE - 2/15/2018, 5:21 PM

A 60-pill bottle of the drug combo, Vimovo, cost $138 in 2013 when AstraZeneca sold it to Horizon. The bottle now costs $2,979 after Horizon raised the price on 11 occasions.

Vimovo is a combination of the common painkiller naproxen and esomeprazole. Naproxen is the active ingredient in Bayer’s over-the-counter painkiller Aleve. A side effect of naproxen is gastrointestinal issues, including stomach pain and heartburns. As such, Vimovo combines it with esomeprazole, a proton-pump inhibitor that treats heartburn. Esomeprazole is sold over the counter by AstraZeneca as Nexium.
Bought separately, the two can cost as little as $36 total.
...
Horizon also makes the two-in-one painkiller Duexis, which pairs painkiller ibuprofen with the antacid famotidine. The company charges $2,979 for a 90-pill bottle, while the drugs would cost as little as $15 if bought separately.

Nevertheless, Duexis and Vimovo are sometimes covered by US health insurance companies. And Horizon made $134 million in sales from both products in the first nine months of 2017, Rea said.

That mass shootings in the US are caused by CIA mnid control?

The government encouraged the manufacture and importation of
military firearms for the criminals to use. This is intended to foster a
feeling of insecurity, which would lead the American people to voluntarily
disarm themselves by passing laws against firearms. Using drugs and
hypnosis on mental patients in a process called Orion, the CIA inculcated
the desire in these people to open fire on schoolyards and thus inflame the
antigun lobby
. This plan is well under way, and so far is working perfectly.
The middle class is begging the government to do away with the 2nd
amendment.

Behold a Pale Horse — Milton William (Bill) Cooper, 1991

http:// a.co/0IZY9ra

“Bill Cooper, former United States Naval Intelligence Briefing Team member, reveals information that remains hidden from the public eye. This information has been kept in topsecret government files since the 1940s. His audiences hear the truth unfold as he writes about the assassination of John F. Kennedy, the war on drugs, the secret government, and UFOs. Bill is a lucid, rational, and powerful speaker whose intent is to inform and to empower his audience. Standing room only is normal. His presentation and information transcend partisan affiliations as he clearly addresses issues in a way that has a striking impact on listeners of all backgrounds and interests. He has spoken to many groups throughout the United States and has appeared regularly on many radio talk shows and on television. In 1988 Bill decided to "talk" due to events then taking place worldwide, events that he had seen plans for back in the early 1970s. Bill correctly predicted the lowering of the Iron Curtain, the fall of the Berlin Wall, and the invasion of Panama. All Bill's predictions were on record well before the events occurred. Bill is not a psychic. His information comes from top secret documents that he read while with the Intelligence Briefing Team and from over seventeen years of research.”

Can I join your http://psiencequest.net forums?

I read the rules. If I'm too radical and you don't want me there, that's okay, no hard feelings.

The problem I have with the PsiScienceQuest forum is that, as far as I can see, there is not a single thread about Pizzagate related activity, even in the so-called "conspiracy" subforum. How can this be, when even the mainstream news is full of stories about CIA-related sex trafficking (e.g. DynCorp), aid organizations involved in pedophilia and trafficking in Haiti (and other war/disaster torn nations in the Middle East), government workers storing tens of thousands of images of child porn on government computers, the Weinstein/Spacey et. al revelations showing rampant elite sexual abuse including pedophilia, etc.? It is in our faces day after day, revelation after revelation. And yet, the founders over there (Laird excluded actually) were so offended by the PG thread here that this topic was effectively shunned/banned per the PSQ "rules" -- (no accusing people -- even public figures -- of sex crimes/pedophilia....), and this one topic was singled out by people like SciB as not even worthy of discussion in a conspiracy subforum, where lots of speculation and reliance on circumstantial evidence is allowed on all other topics (and of course, discussions regarding fake Shakespeare are clearly fine, along with the usual and far more "plausible" topics of ghosts, demons, OBE's, NDE's, aliens, gods, etc.).

To me, this is the darkest part of the elite agenda and is connected to everything "conspiratorial" and political. It is clearly a part of the black economy that exists alongside our "white" economy and is clearly something to be discussed in a conspiracy sub-forum trying to work out what's going on in this world. But it appears that no amount of corroboration -- even by the mainstream press -- will convince certain people that there is something there worth discussing and exposing. Why is that?

The problem I have with the PsiScienceQuest forum is that, as far as I can see, there is not a single thread about Pizzagate related activity

I presume you mean: aside from Sci's "Skeptic’s Guide to ‘Pizzagate,’ ‘Pedogate’ and Russia Denial" thread. In any case, this is certainly not due to censorship on the part of the founders. You or anybody else would be very welcome to start such a thread if you would like to, although I can understand why, given the existing, public Skeptiko thread, you might feel there is nothing to be gained from it and no point to it.

And yet, the founders over there (Laird excluded actually) were so offended by the PG thread here that this topic was effectively shunned/banned per the PSQ "rules" -- (no accusing people -- even public figures -- of sex crimes/pedophilia....)

I think you are misunderstanding that rule. First, it applies only to unsubstantiated accusations of paedophilia or sex crimes. This is no more restrictive than defamation laws - you could easily be sued for publicly accusing somebody of paedophilia or sex crimes without good evidence. Second, and more importantly, it does not apply at all in the hidden forums: "Note that in these forums, moderators will not police defamatory remarks and personal slurs at all, for two reasons: (1) the forums are private, and, (2) the nature of these forums is in part to criticise public figures, and to police such criticism would be to frustrate the discussions". In other words, accuse whomever you like about whatever you like with however little evidence you like in the hidden conspiracy theory and politics forums on Psience Quest: people might individually object, but your post will not be officially moderated in any way on the basis of defamation.

As for the rest of the founders in general being offended by Skeptiko's PG thread in particular, I don't recall that being the case, but my memory is not all that reliable. I am open to correction if you can point me to anything that you have used to form that opinion.

this one topic was singled out by people like SciB as not even worthy of discussion in a conspiracy subforum

Well, different members have different opinions - don't forget that Sci once contributed here on Skeptiko too. In any case, I understand that - rightly or wrongly - Sci objects to Pizzagate as a (failed, in his view) conspiracy theory - I very much doubt that he would at all object to discussion of the problem of child sexual abuse in general.

On the topic of Sci: where is the man? Does anybody know? He hasn't been seen for months.

By the way, AryaS, I am planning on responding to you in the PG thread - would like to do some research first though, especially on statistics, so I can cobble together an at least minimally informed response.

Thanks for the response Laird. Yes, I didn't mean the "thread" featuring only one painfully long -- and seriously problematic -- debunker article posted by Sci-- and "liked" by 2 people, one of whom clearly had a problem with the PG thread here. I read that article a long time ago, but if I recall correctly, it goes off on a complete Russia tangent, makes blatantly false statements about real cases of pedophilia (e.g., the author says that all the claims against PM Edward Heath were "laid to rest" and proven false, when nothing could be further from the truth), and pathologizes anyone who had a problem with the odd Podesta coded emails and artwork showing little children being abused hanging in Tony Podesta's home). It's a tedious article speaking to those who already want to deny the existence of high level pedophile/sex trafficking rings -- and who are such rabid supporters of HRC that they can not see any wrongdoing, no matter how much evidence piles up against her. (and I am a (former at this point) liberal democrat, not alt right at all).

But I am glad to know that "anything goes" in the sub-forums -- the way the rules are written, it suggests to me that you can accuse someone of murder (e.g., 9/11 and the dubious nature of lone shooter cases are tolerated) but discussions about the rampant pedophilia and sex trafficking going on at the highest levels are frowned upon. The rules of defamation would apply equally to unsubstantiated allegations of mass murder, presumably, but only one type of discussion is explicitly mentioned in the rules as one needing substantiation. I also wonder what would qualify as substantiation in situations like this exactly? A main stream press article? Prosecution?

At any rate, it is odd to me that no-one has bothered to raise this critical -- and current -- topic there.

On the topic of Sci: where is the man? Does anybody know? He hasn't been seen for months.

He fell out along with about a dozen other core posters when most other forum threads besides discuss the show and Alex's book got completely removed from the site costing these guys thousands of hours of their lives.

I think Laird means he's missing from PsiScience Quest, not here. Laird's a founder of that forum - where Sci moved along with the exodus.

It's a tedious article

Yep, you have more stamina than I do! I got partway through it and couldn't go any further - it seemed almost endless!

the way the rules are written, it suggests to me that you can accuse someone of murder (e.g., 9/11 and the dubious nature of lone shooter cases are tolerated) but discussions about the rampant pedophilia and sex trafficking going on at the highest levels are frowned upon [...] only one type of discussion is explicitly mentioned in the rules as one needing substantiation

Well, I guess I'd explain that by saying that we deliberately chose the most heinous example of that of which a person might be accused without substantiation - which doesn't mean that less heinous examples are tolerated.

I also wonder what would qualify as substantiation in situations like this exactly? A main stream press article? Prosecution?

I don't think that's something that any of us have thought carefully about - unless/until we did so, I guess we'd work it out on the fly. The two examples you give both seem legit to me - the second, of course, more so.

I think Laird means he's missing from PsiScience Quest, not here. Laird's a founder of that forum - where Sci moved along with the exodus.

Right. Sci's account here on Skeptiko is no longer even functional. I just thought that since he started out posting here, he might have kept in touch privately with folks continuing to post here - plus, some folks from Psience Quest continue to follow Skeptiko, so it didn't hurt to pose the question here.
