Trump Consciousness

The real point is that they seem happy to use a vague slur rather than anything specific - which probably means they don't know or care about the details
The turning point for Shlomo was when he witnessed the injustice firsthand as a young Israeli soldier.

The real problem is that once troops are involved in active military work, bad things happen. Imagine being a soldier who has seen a friend killed or badly injured, and then perhaps minutes later you have the option to do the same to one of the enemy - maybe even the same person that attacked your friend. The idea of honourable fighting is a myth.

The only way is to stop wars and preparations for war, but unfortunately to do that you need both sides to make reasonable demands.

Jeez it's good to hear the truth from intelligent men.
Well, it may not be the whole truth, but it’s closer to my truth imo. I don’t believe there’s really such a thing as definite ‘truth’ in this dimension. Just subjective choices.

I think intelligent men are plentiful in the forum too. Seriously intelligent men, that I’d hesitate to compare to any people I’ve posted videos of. What my intelligent men do have, is a deep knowledge of the facts, and often relevant experience too. In this, I’d put them up against anyone on the forum. They have reached a very different opinion to many on the forum, but i don’t think intelligence alone is sufficient. It’s very interesting.

At the end of the day, any ‘misguided’ opinions that we deeply hold here on earth, can only hope to be resolved by...who exactly?

I can assure you that Gilad Atzmon (the man that made the comment about Trumps administration) thinks very deeply about all things Israeli, there’s nothing ‘vague’ about his comments. They’re often very cutting.

Yes, no slur intended here, many great thinkers. But both these men have had actual experience as you say so it is commentary from the heart, intelligent and well-informed but also compassionate, balanced, calm, honest and genuinely concerned. I had thought journalism was in decline, many have been killed or silenced by compromise, though I like George Monbiot writing for the uk Guardian paper. I'm anxious that the greats, John Pilger and Noam Chomsky are getting old and will one day leave us. Who will replace them?

Here's the thing about the flaws in other cultures, real or imagined: they don't justify us invading the nations of those cultures, committing even worse atrocities, and denying them agency. We are working out the flaws in our own culture without external imposition; they will do the same - and if they (the citizens of those nations) want our help then they are free to ask for it on their own terms as recipients of assistance, rather than on our terms as self-interested aggressors.

Edit: to clarify, this references the criticisms of Islam earlier in this thread, as well as those cultures which practiced human sacrifice and cannibalism.

The US lets in around 1.5 million legal immigrants each year. Then there's all of the illegals, somewhere between 11 million and 20 million depending on which estimate you look at. These people come from third world countries and bring with them a different culture and mindset. Our politicians are pandering to them. That's not an invasion?

Show me the battleships, tanks, aerial supremacy, etc - the loss of life, the massacres, the installation of puppet regimes - then we can talk about invasion.

Seeking a better life is not invasion.

Seeking a better life is not invasion.
It is not one's human right to take that better life, from someone else, through illegally moving into their nation and shattering the dreams for a better life on the part of legal immigrants and extant citizens. This applies to individual citizens as much as it applies to a military. There are more ways to attack a nation, than with a gun.

One cannot simultaneously claim the virtues of democracy and open borders - this is the same as tyranny.

Ah, and so, why are those humans forced to seek a better life? (Often enough it is because a better life has been taken from them by somebody else... (and who might that "somebody" be?)). And who says that they are taking anything from anyone? Often enough, they come to make a contribution. But, more generally, shouldn't those who claim to be the light on the hill expect to attract (and duly accommodate) those "moths" who seek the "moon"?

This is called immigration.
We have not been discussing immigration.

That 'somebody' is royalty, mafia, global socialism and one oppressive religion.
Of this I am a deeply experienced and first hand observer. I will match my experience up with anyone you can produce in a media sound byte.
It is not the fault of the United States citizen, and neither should they bear the responsibility, cost and ultimate harm.

This is not an innocuous intellectual debate... illegal immigration is dark and oppressive in its intent/outcome - and can not be affixed with any badge of virtue nor honor.

It is the overthrow of a democracy through illegally importing voters, and is a form of warfare.

As an example, which does not even involve the 11 million border illegals, here are the Department of State - Refugee Processing Center stats on refugee entries under the Obama Administration. I cannot belive that I actually voted for this guy. This is just one example of a policy of betrayal of the American people, which was not only racially and religiously bigoted, but as well indicates one key influence as to where the refugee problem originates - Islam.

There can be no claim made here to enlightenment, virtue, niceness, dreams nor light of any kind. This is hate - pure and simple.

Why don't you accompany me on my next strategy in north-of-the-river Minneapolis. Where you have to move quickly from the building to your car under armed escort because of your skin color. Or you find fraud in a corporation, which is causing it to fail... and endangering the jobs and lives of hundreds of honest families and innocent Americans - and you have your life threatened for doing so, and the fraud perpetrators cannot be prosecuted because they are 'protected citizens' - not citizens, or are above the law.

Immigrants do not do this stuff. They help build the nation. Illegals - do illegal things, as they are not dreamers, rather schemers. They are exporting their mafia to a more profitable territory.
