Luciferianism is a misnomer.

Lucifer, Light bearer. The equivalent of Prometheus who stole the fire (light) and gave it to humanity and was punished.

Illumination from the darkness of ignorance. Similar to the serpent messenger in the garden waking Adam and Eve from slumber so that they may be as gods and know good from evil.

A conduit from the unknowable and unfathomable true God far removed from this realm.

Also the Astro theological equivalent being Venus. "I am the bright and morning star".

Gnostics believed that the Jewish God was Yaldabaoth, the abomination. The lesser jealous, vengeful and vindictive God of the old testament. The same God of orthodox Christianity but not same God of the celestial Christos who served the same role of messenger and illumination.

Perhaps the greatest trick the devil ever played was not convincing people that he did not exist, but convincing people that he was God.

The one that in the name of has persecuted and murdered all others with competing views, burnt their teachings, plunged the world into the dark ages, to murder thousands of woman for the crime of witchcraft. Sacked culture after culture and forced conversion through threat, intimidation and punishment of death while destroying generations of native customs. Sat along side tyrannical kings as they imposed their will. The religion that uses guilt and fear of eternal suffering to push it's message. The religion that now sits on the throne of decadence and massive riches while a billion live on less than a dollar a day. Where pedophilia is rampant in the clergy. And now whos pope colludes with globalist forces to dominate the world.

It is myth, just as Gnosticism is. To believe it literal truth and that only some selected scriptures are Gods word and the multitude of others are not is exactly the type of self righteous discriminations that such packaged belief systems produce.

We are here to share opinions. If your faith is sound my opinion should not upset you so much.

It is a matter of perspective. The Christianity that survived was only one of many. Thinking it is the only true one or the only path is arrogance in the extreme IMO.

I need no books or churches or priests, only actual experience, that is my path. It is real, accessible, tangible and does not rely on faith.

Atone - Atonement "AT ONE WITH". Practice it. It is a form of gnosis.

How do you know Gnostics existed? It could be a fraud , only the dead sea scrolls? Nothing else really even explains mentions them. I think the they never existed and your following a false doctrine. Or they just made up their religion and biases. Maybe jealous of Jesus I think.

Lucifer is not a God. Lucifer is not Satan. This is yet another lie from the church. One of the biggest misconceptions by the majority of Christians. They have it all ass backwards. This is the great deception. This is why rather than bringing a enlightenment to the world it had the complete opposite effect.

You won't find any equivalent of Lucifer (light bearer) to that of Satan (the adversary) in the bible anywhere. This was a ad hoc invention.

I can show that the God of Jesus is not the God of the old testament with comparative quotes from the OT and NT. I shall post it later.

BTW I am not saying that the teachings of the Christ are not valid. I am not saying there is no God. I understand the reaction, it is normal.

But of course this is exactly what a Luciferian would say. :)

There are distinctly two Gods in the Bible, but don't despair, you can keep your faith, this is not the God that Jesus refers to. This is part of the great deception. I am not attacking Christianity, I am exposing the corruption that has been woven into it.

Like so many others I would have been executed for this heresy back in the days of the early church as the Gnostics were. Yet it is right there in the very name of the God and in the book that has been folded into the faith, tainting it and compromising it.

But be forewarned we're doing kind of a deep dive so unless you're into stuff like comparing josephus versus tacitus it might not be that interesting to you.

Spoiler alert... it's pretty obvious that jesus of the bible didn't exist. and if you want to settle for an atheist... oops I mean agnostic... fallback position like bart ehrman then you have to ask yourself what that version of jesus gets you
