The Donald Trump Thread

"Donald Trump...has been "projecting an image" ... and "the part that he's been playing is now evolving"

"When he's out on the stage, when he's talking about the kinds of things he's talking about on the stump, he's projecting an image that's for that purpose," Manafort said in a private briefing..."

"The part that he's been playing is evolving into the part that now you've been expecting, but he wasn't ready for, because he had first to complete the first phase. The negatives will come down. The image is going to change."

"At some point, I'm going to be so presidential that you people will be so bored," he said, predicting that the size of his crowds would dwindle if he dialed back his rhetoric."

"As Trump continues to rail against "a rigged" nomination process, he sent Manafort and his newly hired political director, Rick Wiley, to help improve relationships with party officials at the meeting."

No no no no won't get fooled again...nooooooooooooooo

Despite the voting fraud, with over 10 million votes Trump is on track to set a new record.

"Trump surged to more than 10 million votes, according to totals that include Tuesday’s preliminary results across the Northeast. That’s already about 250,000 more than Romney earned in the entire 2012 primary season and 153,000 more than John McCain earned in 2008.

More significantly, Trump is positioned to easily pass the modern record-holder, George W. Bush, who collected 10.8 million votes in 2000.

That presents an uncomfortable reality for anti-Trump forces: they’re attempting to thwart the candidate who is likely to win more Republican primary votes than any GOP contender in at least the last 36 years, and maybe ever."

"In a democracy people get the leaders they deserve..."

After reading about the unusual traditions of Spartans of the Ancient Greece - having two kings simultaneously - I have an idea which may be the most useful political innovation for the USA: double presidency.

Look at this: we have two good and smart, but still flawed and imperfect people running for the US presidency now: Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders. Each of them seems to be partially right and partially wrong about many things. Their weak and strong points are usually diamentrically opposite, because of them being, respectively, essential "right-winger" (Trump) and "left-winger" (Sanders). :)

So, being combined and acting together, these two men will form a Perfect Anti-Establisment Innovative Liberating President, who will integrate the stong points and features of Trump and Sanders, without possessing their weaknesses. :D

The main question left: how to make them work together? Well, John C. Lilly has already described the "Dyadic Satori", the "Unity in a Couple": a creation and maintainitng of a deep spiritual connection between two individuals. One of the most known ways to achieve such state is sexual magick or Tantric yoga. ;)

So, the answer is simple: let Trump and Sunders have a magickal, Tantric-type sex with each other, reach higher interconnectedness and form a dual overmind of a Perfect President... :)

Oops... They are both heterosexuals, aren't they? This is a problem! :(

Some other ideas how to make Donald and Bernie co-workers?

Well he could choose him as his running mate (or do you have to choose someone from the same party).

However, BS is deeply into climate change, which IMHO is a huge scam. I very much hope that if DT makes it to the white house, he will not just reverse all the climate change nonsense, but he will also set up some kind of a public enquiry that will expose the full truth about this subject. A lot of the truth isn't really technical at all - I am pretty sure that if/when it all comes out, people will be scandalised by the waste that this has involved:

Any word on Trump's taxes?

Or, on the flip side, Hilary's speeches?

Or, on the flip side, Hilary's speeches?
Secretary Clinton is unlikely to release the content of those speeches, and I suspect she honestly doesn't see what the problem is.

Mr. Burns' special step-cousin keeps changing his excuses for dodging a routine part of running for President.

A strange series where the atheist Scott Adams who admires Trump for his manipulative ability. I give Adams credit for recognizing Trump's success in the political campaign from an early date.

Trump is not popular with Latinos. Even before the presentation of his official immigration plan, Trump was polling at 13 percent among Latinos, resulting from his statement that Mexican immigrants are criminals and rapists. That’s less than half of the support that Romney got. But even getting more support than Romney is not enough.

Because of the rapid growth in the number of Latino and Asian voters, the Republican nominee actually has to do better than Bush’s 40 percent. Latinos and Asians will represent 22 percent of the electorate in 2016, up from 20 percent in 2012. What this means according to the leading pollster on Latino electoral behavior, Latino Decisions, is that the Republican nominee will now need to get 47 percent of the Latino vote to win the general election
Adams believes that Trump will select a latino as VP candidate. Would that be enough to increase his share of the vote?
