It is a brilliant experiment. It elegant simplicity is what makes it genius.
And you can repeat fairly easy, a lot easier than 2300 yrs ago, so why don't you?
The sun is very big and very far, otherwise the angular size of the sun would change in size between sunrise and sunset size depending where you live.
I don't know how flat earthers suppose the sun moves over the "disk", but however they propose it is moving, it is going to conflict with the observations from the two stick experiment.
How does the sun move according to your version of the flat earth?
Is it not so that there are different flavors of flat eartherism?, which one do you adhere to?

With a flat earth, how does one explain the Coriolis force? Note: you can't demonstrate the force just by observing water draining in your sink or toilet -- that's influenced by various factors. First, you have to eliminate those factors, as the following video shows:

As more and more civilians, and people in general begin to go up into space, the flat earthers are going to have a harder and harder time maintaining their conspiracy. This conspiracy already includes all people of all nations that have been into space. And the people who provide them with support back on the ground. As well as any people privy to satellite images of the planet. Yet not one confession. Not one person revealing what would be the biggest kept secret of all time. Not even on a death bed. Imagine if you knew this secret. Boy, the urge to get it out would be incredible.
Travel into space will become common within the next 30-60 years. Eventually everybody will know that the earth is round. Flat Earth theory will be forgotten completely.
