Actually, I found what my semi-foggy mind was thinking about... and it wasn't from the video, it was from Bruce's post back on October 13, 2019. This post lays out the high level story.

Commentary - If I were required to make odds on the key propositions Bruce's work has suggested as "possibly true" I make those odds far higher than any of the BS "the Royal We" has been forcing down our throats.
The key convincing factor to me is Bruce's information that the geneticists who only in the last few decades achieved the ability to examine the genetic record concluded there is essentially a "zero chance" the genetic changes that occurred over a short period of time (Bruce suggests was about 780K years ago)
occurred naturally.
I cannot imagine anyone with any degree of developed analytical ability (logic) could come away from that information - proven by the analysis of the switch differences (in the DNA) and the time frame these changes are pinned down to - and think "homo sapien" came forth from natural evolution. Either some "God" thingie did this or a vastly more advanced intelligence which is able to reside in or at least reach into this same shared reality we sometimes call "physicality" or 3D or "the material world," etc. played "doctor" with our DNA. And to a less cognitively advanced humanity (like us, as we seem to be today), could the latter (an advanced race of beings)
feel like the former (God)?
How many of us confuse "what feels true" with what we state to be "fact"? That is why
I don't hold within my set of operational assumptions the assumption there be a "third party God." I might be wrong - maybe I'll find out.
So this leaves virtually only one possibility in my own current analysis (with but one exception - stated afterward) - That one possibility is that ET messed with the DNA of our distant ancestor(s) for whatever reasons. Reasons which we might see as good or bad, but how we see it doesn't change the fact (or not) of it.
The only other possibility is that a "natural" process (from some external naturally occurring force) of which we currently are unaware caused the acceleration. Something that would give the "God is a third party" adherents more ammunition.
I bet on Bruce's hypothesis.
Incredible... while in the midst of this post, I just got my notice from Amazon that -
"Arriving today: Your package with Exogenesis: Hybrid Humans: A Scientific History of Extraterrestrial Genetic... More info at [link to my order]" How interesting the presence of synchronicity underpinning Bruce's (and probably Dani's) journey. THAT is, IMO, the elephant in the living room!
