Alex,
Re; Deep State, Gloria S. etc - Have you considered that they did not, for example, create the feminist movement. Rather that the movement had started and they sought to control it by inserting a leader? The best way to fight a revolution is not break out the machine guns and arrest warrants, but to tame it from within. Ditto MK-Ultra and the psychedelic movement, socialist movements, etc.

All of which is a far cry from blowing up buildings, killing thousands of Americans, or shooting Presidents. In fact, it is the opposite. You infiltrate and guide so mass destruction and social upheaval don't happen. Not all "conspiracies" and/or "theories" about them are created equal.

Not making any moral or value judgments here. Just hopefully opening your thinking to a new angle on all of this stuff.

Otherwise, Alan is woefully uninformed when it comes to extended consciousness. Just another guy who scratches the surface, forms a half-baked opinion and then moves on to other matters.

totally agree

Ah good! You see what I mean. Some people see it as their duty to keep things under control for the greater good. Again, not making moral or value judgments because these things are complex and there are lots of very real grey areas.

Which makes me wonder how we got to where we are today, where the "protectors" have decided to wage outright, in your face, no holds barred political war against 50% of the country; going against the conservative and patriotic (in the true sense of the words) values they once held. Perhaps it is just another example of the old adage that power corrupts, as do utopian visions.

The politicians and their stupid antics were once merely a nuisance that had to be endured. Now they seem to be co-conspirators. Big mistake. The work is supposed to be done behind the scenes by smart reasoned and seasoned men and not led by senile idiots, daffy women and revolutionary children. Something has gotten out of control, somehow. I suspect it's the changing nature of business and money. Used to be blue chips; now it's weirdo tech run by foreigners/recent immigrants/space cadets. I think that's it.

The interests of America is business. When business was steel, coal, cars, guns, sugar, corn, beef, shipping, telecommunications, etc there was something tangible to protect. There were tangible products. Tangible jobs. A tangible economy. Now it's the la la land of apps, internet and related bullshit, like entertainment and financial derivatives that you can't eat, or build with and can't live in. It's all fake and gay. No wonder the "protectors" have been culled to the few who are willing to work for that. This is a consciousness revolution more than anything they tell you it is. It's real flesh and blood humans with old souls versus homodigitalus, who are mere energy sources for AI.

We are now in the realm of what sci-fi predicted (in a bad way)

I think I'm going to need more distance from the recent political thing before I can even begin figure it out

I'm only 23 minutes in but had to jump on and say how much I'm loving this episode. Alex is bumping up against all the same deflections and mental walls I always have when speaking with normies and it's fascinating to observe the normie while their brain splits in two and see how various attempts to penetrate their defense mechanisms are thrwarted so obviously this should be the theme of many more episodes and the next book :)

This guest is contradiction in1carnate and I'm not buying any of his act ("I'm respectful of everyone and want to hear their PoV") - extremely phony as evidenced by his ignorant-as-fuck Alex Jones tirade just 20 minutes prior - and for the record I AM the lefty deep state conspiracy theorist unicorn he claims doesn't exist and have little in common with Jones beyond 9/11 and protecting his right to speak in the digital public forum.

I guess it helps being old enough to remember when alex jones railed against bush/cheney :-)

I agree. That tirade made Warren sound like an idiot.

First he said "We should never generalize". Then he immediately made a sweeping Generalization about Alex Jones and his listeners.

Good on Alex Tsakiris for calling Warren out on this blatant contradiction, but Warren didn't acknowledge his hypocracy, or seem to even realize how absurd he sounded.

It's difficult for me to understand how people like Warren can be so oblivious to the fact they are contradicting themselves from one minute to the next.

First and foremost, let's respect Alan Warren's work as the lead singer of the 90's iconic rock group, The Smashing Pumpkins. Secondly, let's respect the fact that he died and didn't see shit. Maybe a lot of people die and don't see shit at all, then live to tell about it. This is where things become very interesting to me. As he said, he was dead, didn't have any memory of any experience when he was dead, but the next thing he knew, he was awake! I think this is something akin to those who dream, and those who do not remember their dreams. On a deeper level, it could be something else altogether different. We need to ask more difficult questions about what consciousness is. Often, the assumption is made that one can die and no longer be conscious. We can observe others in a state that we call "unconscious," but they cannot observe themselves in such a state. In affect, we project this idea of consciousness outside of the observer, when in all honesty, it cannot ever be proven to exist outside of you, whether you were dead for 15 minutes or one million years. This is hard to grasp, but in reality, you cannot become without consciousness. Their are a myriad of descriptions.....blackness, lights out, etc. All of those descriptions are aspects of consciousness. Humanity has a way to go, but once we realize the mundane is not as mundane as we thought it was, e.g., waking and sleeping life, then another level is obtained.

Sorry you did say this. I didn't see it . I would say you don't see SHIT or remember it when you dream most of the time ,but you do every night; maybe the same when you die, you have experiences but some people don't remember them.

I would say when people have died in a hospital and then tell the doctor working on them how and what they were doing ,or see family members .or people in waiting rooms and describe what they were wearing etc .... or see the future and it comes true , or any number of experiences like that, probably safe to say that your mind survives death in some way.

From studies done in hospitals, only about 10% of people who suffer a cardiac arrest, remember anything from that time - so Alan's lack of experience was quite typical.

However, to me 10% of people having this experience is far more important than the 90% who don't. The 10% tell us that us that the structure of consciousness is such that it doesn't depend on the body, and of course a fair proportion of that 10% report contact wit their dead relations.

The reason 90% of people report nothing, could be various. The exact physiology of what goes on after a cardiac arrest may vary somewhat, I imagine. Also people vary a lot in many ways, and it may be that the brains of the 90% retain a residual hold on to their minds that little bit longer than the others.

Another possibility is that they have an NDE, but then fail to remember it. Interestingly enough, I have read that some people who are anaesthetised have a period of 'delirium' as they wake up, that they then forget. I have only been anaesthetised twice, but on the second occasion, the nurse who was supervising me, indicated that I had been a wake for a short while before I was coherent - I simply remembered waking and realising I was 'back'.

Because the materialist viewpoint has such a grip, nobody seems much interested in studying exactly what the delirious patients were saying.

I've been anesthetized thousands of times because I used to do drugs.

It's very common to not know if you are actually awake. It was a running joke with my girlfriend. We would jack Heroin, then lay in bed all day. She would ask me "Am I awake?". I would occasionally ask her the same.

The question was genuine. It is literally impossible to determine if you are dreaming or awake, so you have to ask.

To me all that really says is that there is a depth to consciousness/a living being, that modern medical equipment is unable to detect. Hence they are clinically dead. IMO the still alive being has something akin to a dream which could be very profound and insightful in a way that they are able to, as best as possible in than moment, understand. I think we probably do re-incarnate straight into another organic body, probably an unborn baby at the time of conception (note paired electron instant reactions, in physics, regardless of distance)

Yea i would say consciousness survives survives death :) life after death 30 watts of power!

Great response!!!!! I agree , like dreaming toowe all dream all night long but lots of times don't remember. It depends maybe of what stage your in when they revive you. If you're not brain dead , you might not have an experience. now a days paramedics and doctors can bring you out of it fast.
