Meme Magick / Cult of Kek / Pepe the Frog

If anyone hasn't heard... a modern Cult of Kek (frog worship) has sprung up thanks to 4chan, Trump, Pepe the Frog, synchronicities, and ...dare I say, answered prayers... to Kek.

Kek in his modern incarnations as Pepe the Frog, a cartoon meme, and as Donald J. Trump himself is a trickster god supporting anarcho-capitalists. Kek has apparently set himself up in opposition to the deep state - even drawing the ire of Hillary Clinton who publicly denounced the cartoon frog as racist.

And another possible Trump/kek/frog synchronicity that I didn't hear mentioned so far: during one of the early primary debates Alex Jones started calling Trump the "Magnificent Magical Golden Toad" and mentioned that this was not an insult as Jones' own family often calls Jones "The Toad" as a funny term of endearment.

So what do you make of this? Is it meme Magick? How does it work? Why is Kek interfering with our elections? lol... I mean... kek

"Kek" is a variation of "lol" ->

Kek literally translates to lol on World of Warcraft. When someone from the Horde side types lol in /say, members of the alliance side see kek instead. Not specific to Orcs.
Human Paladin: Dude, that Orc totally just pwned you.
Orc: Kek.
Human: Dude, now he's laughing at you. Kick his ass.

So the idea is that the Egyptian primordial is synchronous with this term?

Kek (also Keku, Kekui) is the deification of the concept of primordial darkness (kkw smꜣw, keku-semau[1]) in the Ancient Egyptian Ogdoad cosmogony. As a concept, Kek was viewed as androgynous, his female form being known as Keket (also Kekuit).[2] Kek and Keket in some aspects also represent night and day, and were called "raiser up of the light" and the "raiser up of the night", respectively.[3] The name is written as kk or kkwy (kkt, kkwyt) with a variant of the sky hieroglyph in ligature with the staff (N2) associated with the word for "darkness" kkw.[4]

In the oldest representations, Kekui is given the head of a serpent, and Kekuit the head of either a frog or a cat. In one scene, they are identified with Ka and Kait; in this scene, Ka-Kekui has the head of a frog surmounted by a beetle and Kait-Kekuit has the head of a serpent surmounted by a disk.[5] In the Greco-Roman period, Kek's male form was depicted as a frog-headed man, and the female form as a serpent-headed woman, as were all four dualistic concepts in the Ogdoad.

I think the challenge for me is the phrase "kek" wasn't, AFAIK, really identified with Pepe. The joining factor is that people on 4chan/8chan/etc took up both terms. I mean it could be seen as a sychronicity, but it would be weird if Primordial Darkness (darkness here in the elemental sense) had an interest in elections.

I haven't gone through all the links but Hurm, if you have, curious what connection you're seeing. I mean if Kek was a trickster I could follow the pattern better, but even "raiser of light/night" is used in an elemental rather than moral sense AFAICTell.

The "metaphysics of pepe" vid above goes into the trickster aspects a lot more... frogs are amphibians so they are boundary crossers and shape shifters (tadpole to toad) become active at sunset... they go into frog mythologies... the frog plague the set the Hebrews free, the frog and the princess, the spirits of demons "that looked like frogs" mentioned in Revelation, and others I can't remember... Pepe is sort of a trickster... looks dumb, dank, and marginalized, but is smugly better than you. His early hit meme was "feels good man" where he pees with his pants on the ground. He is shameless, counter-cultural, offensive, and not serious.

Kek was reportedly a god of darkness and chaos. Chaos kind of ties in with the trickster and chaos magic. 4chan (so I've heard) is a chaotic place and gamer culture ensures it stays that way. Kek became a smug, condescending, dominating version of "lol" which the "normies" use... So people would respond to humorous Pepe memes by typing "kek".

Anyway... don't read my mediocre recollections of the material linked to above... just check it out! :)

When I said we should make a thread about "meme magic" in general, I didn't mean to bring in Trump stuff, because you know that will derail the thread! Ha ha. But the pepe\kek is interesting, so I don't blame you for bringing it up.

I think of memes as propaganda originating from the masses, rather than the standard propaganda aimed AT the masses, which is why dank memes make some people so mad... :)

I will read up more, thanks for the links.

David Brock's Media Matters (is it still under Brock?) says Gateway Pundit flashed a hate "sign" associated with the "hate symbol" Pepe. I actually had no idea that the OK sign was racist hate code, but okay. (Their destruction on Twitter was funny, though.) Link here (using archive to reduce hits: http://archive.is/K9rQv)

I remember when liberal sites and the MSM were sourcing the Southern Poverty Law Center as classifying Pepe as a "hate symbol." But, unlike most people, I guess, I actually went to the SPLC site to read what they said about Pepe. Surprise! They said Pepe is not a hate symbol itself, but that his image has been used alongside hate rhetoric. Kind of like any image meme ever. I knew the MSM was being deliberately dishonest about it, but damn. I haven't checked SPLC since then, though, so I have no idea if they changed it.

MEMES, MAGIC AND MYSTICISM: SINGING ANIMISM ELECTRIC

A war of witches? There was, indeed, a planned “binding ritual”—a type of spell intended to stop someone from harming others—against Donald Trump for February 24th. A Facebook event page was created for it. Thousands of witches all over the country pledged to participate. Christian organizations responded by pledging to “pray for our president.” Still other witches and magic practitioners warned against the dangers of a binding spell, citing the threefold rule: when you perform magic against someone, it comes back to you threefold. The “magicians” at 4chan, however, expectantly laughed off these efforts. Their own “meme magic” was so wildly successful, and their own deity, “Kek,” so powerful (they claimed), that they had nothing to worry about. If you’re lost, or wondering what magic, memes, and the presidential election have to do with one another, that’s OK. Let me explain.

I’ll need to start from the top. You see, the electric age has always been spooky.

Kek was reportedly a god of darkness and chaos
This is true.

Esoteric Kekism is a syncretic worldview combining national socialism, a Nietzschean rejection of Christianity, and the notion of cyclical time found in the Dharmic religions.

Prophecy states that the ancient god Kek the Destroyer, the final incarnation of the Hindu god Vishnu, will end the current Kali Yuga (Dark Age).

With repetition, a meme becomes a mantra. Enough mantras generate karma.

When adherents offer their keystrokes to Kek, he blesses them with the tempered chaos of meme-upāya (skillful memes) to spread his ideas. These ideas are both the kek-dharma, the teachings necessary to understanding the world and achieving “enlightenment” or “red-pill”, and the meme-upāya , the force which ends mosaic samsara and achieves complete and total Aryan Nirvāna, or Aryan Liberation.

It's way more complicated than this, but those are the basics. It's usually just summed up as:

"There is but one god, KEK, and Donald John Trump is his Prophet. (Peace be upon him)"
