Songs that you feel are "spiritual"

Lara Fabian - Je T'aime

A soul gripping song with the singer Lara Fabian, whom quite earlier, before the show, was confronted with some hard personal news... The song is called, "Je T'aime". - But the audience/ whom had also heard about the tragedy beholden upon her, before the show, decided to take over, and sang the song for her instead
With ONE distinction though; Instead of singing "Je T'aime". (I Love You), they crowd sang; "on t'aime), (We Love You) to her- - with caught a bit off guarf.

A sort of grand spiritualconnection where 10 000 of people cam to gether for this song
----and NO; It' doesn't sound like the quire boys on the Wembley arena. :) Far better. :)

Well, anyway, I saw this clip just the day after the terrorbomnings in Paris - where it had f felt like some enormous SUCK that left most ppl shellschocked, almost paralysed.

BUT LOVE IS STILL IN THE AIR I PARIS - as long they can hold off the IS-bombers.

"..."De humani corporis fabrica
The structure of the human body, welcome to Gattaca
Twin girls in the hallway, elevators of blood,
Spin words like spider's silk burn when the fires built
Doves fly, straight from the hands of a replicant,
Run the blade futuristic cities of the heaven sent
I'm home melted chrome and twisted metal,
Surrealist literature from the seamless vessel
The dark arts incantations and spell craft circles and stars
The same fury that hell hath
Feathers of an Osprey, leather glove of the falconeer,
Treasure chests of gold, tales told then you all come near
Photons and gammas, rays and beams
Sailed with Jason and the Argonauts in ancient leagues
The lords of the hidden world seance and candlelight,
Connections to spirits that dance in the afterlife.."

Very nice, Pollux. I found the lyrics in both Norwegian and English here: http://mylittlenorway.com/norwegian-christmas/my-heart-always-lingers/:

My Heart Always Lingers

Mitt Hjerte Alltid Vanker is a very old and very traditional Christmas hymn in Norway. Both the lyrics and music are very melancholic, but absolutely beautiful when performed with feeling.

Mitt Hjerte Alltid Vanker

Mitt hjerte alltid vanker i Jesu føderom

At du ble født her inne i hjertets dype grunn

My Heart Always Lingers

My heart always lingers in the birthplace of Jesus
My thoughts gather there as their main sum
There my longing has its home, my faith its treasure
I can never forget you, blessed Christmas night

Oh come, I will open my heart and my mind
and sigh with longing, yet come in Jesus
It is not a strange home, you have bought it yourself
So I will remain faithful, wrapped here in my heart

I will gladly spread palm branches around your manger
for you, for you alone I will live and die
Come, let my soul find its right moment of joy for you
that you were born here in the deep of the heart

Glad you like it. It is a nice one,
but a whole verse was missing - seen below in (Italic/bold)

Mitt Hjerte Alltid Vanker

Mitt hjerte alltid vanker i Jesu føderom

My Heart Always Lingers

My heart always lingers in the birthplace of Jesus
My thoughts gather there as their main sum
There my longing has its home, my faith its treasure
I can never forget you, blessed Christmas night'''

A sparrow has its nest and safe place of rest
A swallow can expect a peaceful night’s shelter
The lion has his cave where he can find rest
— Must my God take shelter in another’s stable and straw?

Oh come, I will open my heart and my mind
and sigh with longing, yet come in Jesus
It is not a strange home, you have bought it yourself
So I will remain faithful, wrapped here in my heart

I will gladly spread palm branches around your manger
for you, for you alone I will live and die
Come, let my soul find its right moment of joy for you
that you were born here in the deep of the heart
