Syria and US aggression

I was trying to find out if it is plausible that the Syrian rebels could have sarin. The mainstream argument is that it would be too hard for the rebels to produce sarin, and it is a binary agent so Assad's explanation that Syria bombed a rebel chemical weapons factory doesn't hold up - it is unlikely that the rebels would have both components mixed in whatever facility was bombed.

The argument that it is too hard for the rebels to produce sarin might not be convincing if it was the rebels who used it in 2013 as some claim. I found some information that implies it was the rebels who used sarin in 2013 and other information saying they did not. So I am wondering if anyone knows of any sources they think are reliable that address that question?
