Related somewhat to net neutrality--I find it really interesting to hear about all the moves that have been made to suppress the ability for people investigating pizza gate to collaborate and maintain information online. Anyone interested should listen to the related episodes on higher side.
That last line is killer. :)
Not that I understand the USA system but I'm told that trump is referring to what's written in his biography on the white house web site, which is apparently correct...
"...Mr. Trump won the election on November 8 of 2016 in the largest electoral college landslide for a Republican in 28 years. He won over 2,600 counties nationwide, the most since President Reagan in 1984. Additionally, he won over 62 million votes in the popular vote, the highest all-time for a Republican nominee. He also won 306 electoral votes, the most for a Republican since George H.W. Bush in 1988..."

At best, and without previous (read daily) form, we might put it down to carelessness. The quote Ian has given occurs in the Q and A and was in response to this statement in the opening monologue:
"We got 306 because people came out and voted like they've never seen before so that's the way it goes. I guess it was the biggest electoral college win since Ronald Reagan."
No qualification given until challenged. Trump is a slow learner. His uncontrollable habit of stating a self serving lie is harming him more than he can comprehend. Sooner or later the GOP will tire and act. I am certain plans are already being workshopped for such an eventuality.
Don't be so silly... it was a total non story... Trump did win a landslide electoral college vote by counties...
Huh?! Max, you seem oddly disconcerted. I have no issue with Trump's win; Trump does! He seems incapable of representing it without resort to gross exaggeration and lies. My closing point references this juvenile habit. If you are naive enough to think this is not a grave concern within his Party (the only active agent in his potential removal, other than a criminal act) then I request you reserve judgment and await developments.
It doesn't matter what he's referring to if he misrepresents it. If I read that D is the best in 28 years (and only within certain criteria), but not as great A, B, or C, and then I shout "D is the best since A!", I should absolutely be called out. I'm either being dishonest and self-serving or my reading comprehension skill isn't where it should be.Not that I understand the USA system but I'm told that trump is referring to what's written in his biography on the white house web site, which is apparently correct...

That's one way of seeing it. This is how I see it:Trump is essentially a very good salesman and salesmen are big picture extroverted types - not detail oriented types.
Personally, I'd prefer having to deal with fewer dishonest salesmen in my life.Trump is essentially a dishonest salesman and salesmen are bottom line extroverted types - not fact oriented types.

Trump is not getting impeached.
At least not based on anything that has come out so far. I also doubt there is going to be any evidence that is substantial enough to remove him from office before 2020. Even then I'm not convinced Trump will lose, we're too far out from then.
Can you provide similar maps for the past 6 elections or so? I fail to see how he could have won more counties than any one else and still only got 306 EV.Don't be so silly... that's the electoral college, and only a nerd would say it wasn't a sea of red...
